This is awesome sawsome. It travels along a active short line railroad track and traverses through many small villages that have nicely redone advertisements on the buildings in the towns. We found a couple nice places to eat, too while riding our bikes. When you get into the towns, stop & look both ways, not for trains, but for small businesses that would appreciate Your business.

Beautiful park adjacent to rail trail. During the warmer months the water fountain gets turned on. Just wish there was a better place to chain my bicycle.

Great stop or start off of the trail!

I ride my bike in from York City. It's a good 4.5 or so miles before you reach this lot and vice versa, so it makes for a nice 30 min ride one way or an hour or so round trip. I was averaging 8-9 miles per hour, so the time of the ride may vary depending on your deviation from my time.

There's a water fountain right off the trail that makes for a good refueling station as well! 🚴🏻🚰

Only downside in my opinion is the trail being mostly gravel, but it's really only a downside for those without a mountain bike, so 🤷🏻

This trail is beautiful. The old train tunnel, creeks, and nature were stunning.

Great parking spot for rail trail. Right at mile marker 17 on the rail trail. Porta potty and a water fountain (for drinking, filling up bottles and also a pet fountain). Well done!

A beautiful day on York Heritage Railtrail. It's February 23rd and the temp is up to 71 degrees. Pretty nice for the middle winter.

Just completed a 20 mile bike ride here with my brother this morning. We did the south side. Great scenic ride. Nice trail that seems to be pretty well taken care of!
Tunnel was a nice photo op as was the giant bikes near the peddle rail cars.
Will be back for sure

Lovely place to park, get the bike off the rack, ride either 5 miles north to center city or south to Seven Valleys for valley cheese soup and ride back. I like the south ride better. You go through the historic holland tunnel.

Great place for family hike/bike ride and straight flat trails so good for not so experienced bike riders

The perfect day on the rail trail in June , we started at the Brillhart station parking lot just before howard tunnel traveling south. The trail was very level and I was able to keep up with my husband that was using a pedal assist bike pulling our little dog in a child's wagon. There were many people pedaling on the rail wagons beginning around seven valleys. We stopped and enjoyed the scenery at bridge at Glatfelter station. It was around a 2 hour ride round trip from brillhart to seven valleys and back, with some rest stops.

Went out for a long run. Nice, flat trail for a long run. I imagine it's beautiful when spring hits. Definitely will be back.

The weather was beautiful today. The trail never has any trash strewn about. The people seemed happier than usual. Think it was the weather. I ride an adult trike to help with my balance. A lot of people waved and smiled. More bikes than usual today. Haven't met an unfriendly dog yet.

Love the rail trail, but some of the bike riders can be annoying and act as if they can't use their brake for children in their path.
