This place is amazing. Great products and fantastic staff. One associate even came out to yell at cars speeding through a pedestrian crosswalk. You have to love well-run small businesses like this.

Really interesting store. Lots of wonderful soaps and a wide variety of other items. Definitely an interesting place to visit. My wife grabbed some of their facial soap and is loving it.

This place is absolutely fabulous! We had so much fun creating our own soaps, bath bombs, lotions and bath salts. It was a total hit with all ages, from 3-adult. The people are so patient, helpful and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We even got free samples with our purchase. Definitely make a stop here for lots of fun and great products!

An absolute gem with amazing products. I am so in love with their facial soaps. I’ve tried so many different soaps in the past and these are the first that I genuinely feel like really work well with my skin. Absolutely glowing thanks to the green clay facial soap.

Today myself and fiance and child traveled to this location york pa. It was our first time at this business and it did not fail us at all. 100 dollars later and we walked out very happy and enjoyed every minute we spent there and every time we purchased . We also went next door to make our very own soaps and candles and neckless

So much fun making our own soap. And the store has so many unique items beyond just soap and lotion. Love it! We especially love our shroomy. Thanks ladies 😘

I’ve stopped in on a few occasions but this visit was just a bit more special. Although Theresa has helped me before today was different because my husband was with me. She took her time and answered all of his questions with a smile. Thank you!!!

I went to Sunrise twice today, once for myself and once to find an anniversary gift for my boyfriend. Teresa was INCREDIBLE. She was so kind and friendly, asked lots of questions and made me feel right at home. She even offered to gift wrap the gifts including one I got from another store. The store is beautiful and smells amazing. It is one of my most favorite shops in the city. I always look forward to stopping in and seeing what’s new. 10/10 would recommend!!

Great soap! Me and my family feel safe bathing our baby with this soap, unlike most stuff you can find at the store. Very beautiful shop.

Sunrise soap had been a staple of my forays into downtown York for years. Chris, the proprietor, has done an amazing job and of expanding her tiny, closet sized soap shop into this amazing, 4 location small business chain in Downtown York, Eastern market, Downtown Gettysburg and in Lancaster, at the park city mall. Each one of these stores have an extensive selection of handmade soaps and body products as well as a host of other products such as inscense, locally made crafts, clothes...too much to mention.it has been very satisfying to see her so successful. Her employees are also amazing, friendly and knowledgeable about the products, which you can watch them make right in front of your eyes!!

Our first experience with soap making. We had the best time. My grand had a blast. The 2 young ladies working were absolutely amazing and very helpful. Will definitely being going again. The retail store next door was amazing. The had a lot of neat and cool items. I would recommend buying the rose bath bombs.

I’ve been patronizing Sunrise Soap Company for years not just because I love their great products but because you can’t ignore the good vibes you feel when walking into their shop. Their creative genius combined with a sense of community is undeniable. They are fun free spirits and York is better because they exist.

This was a very fun activity for my daughter and me. She was thrilled to select different colors (even glitter), scents, surprise inside toys, and shapes to gift her friends. All of these selections are included in the price. By melting one bar of soap, we were able to create around 20 tiny gift soaps to share with others. That is a lot of soap. If we selected bigger soap molds, then we could possibly have made four or five soaps for our friends. We were provided gift bags with tyes and cards to share with everyone for free. The soap making building is the second building, and the building where you pay is the first building from the corner of Philadelphia street. Also, the day that we went, we received a free sample of bath bombs to help calm my daughter whom was having a temper tantrum in the middle of the store because she did not want to leave this place. I cannot afford to buy gifts for my friends anymore, but I am thankful for the experience. If I ever have extra money, then I will make soap here again. I don't have any money for it though. Overall this is a very affordable activity for one bar of soap.

The soap lady and sunrise soap company is an amazing time! We came for a little bit and we had so much fun, we came back a few days later before we headed back to Chicago.
The soap lady had everything organized and kept everything and everyone on schedule. My kids are already talking about coming back next year! Thank you soap lady!!

Creation station is great for kids and groups. Walk-ins welcome. Prices per creation range from $5.95-$10. Enjoyable for adults as well. The hostess was patient, helpful and informative. The retail store has lots to check out. Incense, crystals, lotions, tea, jewelry, posters, tapestries. They have everything a New Age shop fan would find enticing.

My all time favorite body butter, Zen, an intoxicating blend of patchouli, clove and orange, arrived in the mail today! Super skin softening, long lasting and sunshine day-dreamy are all adjectives that describe this, and pretty much ANY product from Sunrise Soap.

This was the absolute best experience for my 8 year old! She loved making moon spray and lotion, and my 2 year old had a blast painting a bath bomb. The staff is wonderful, patient, kind and enthusiastic. Definitely visit if you’re in York!
