York Memorial Park Complex

This is our favorite local skate park, hands down. They have a bowl and a pipe!
To get there...
Google Map the York Ice Skating Rink, but pass by it after you turn into the park. The skating rink will be on the left. Drive in through the parking lot and the skate park will be on your right, down a little road with a gate.

What an awesome park! Amongst lots of ball fields! Kickass skate park. They hosted A skate tourney today with live jam bands and it was awesome! What an asset to the community!

Great place to hang out with the family that's off the beaten path with plenty of grass and open spaces to enjoy nature. The skate park is pretty impressive.

Beautiful area. Beautiful park. Very well-kept. A wonderful tribute to our fallen and to Goldstar families. I am always humbled to make this visit during the annual Tour of Honor (TourOfHonor.com) “A Ride to Remember” Since you have come this far, make sure you visit K9 Heroes Pal & Mike in York and certainly the Court of Valor in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Great skatepark, plenty of baseball diamonds, some nice walking trails and a war memorial garden thingy on the outskirts of Penn State. All in all a pretty nice area for biking, skating, running, walking or whatever. There’s a pool and ice cream shop in the summer as well.

It's a nice ice rink. I think there needs to be heat for the hockey games. Very cold bring a blanket

Lovely tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Make sure and get one of the guides that explains the inspiration and valor of our military personnel. Sit on one of the benches and take in the awesomeness!

Very well run facility. Very clean. Dress warmly if you aren't skating, it's cold - brrrr.

I'd say it competes with fdr skatepark for number one skate park in PA that iv visited. Me and the family came up from NY to do the renfair and visit as many skate parks as we could throughout the week. I'd say we hit up over 10 parks so far and this one will be on my agenda every time we're in PA! It's a must see park hands down if your in PA lookin to skate

This is a very unique hole in the wall.... very small and homey! The food and prices were fantastic, food served promptly, with some unique choices too! It was a great steamed burger, as it was first ever!

Had a great time taking my son to his first skatepark.

Awesome place to come visit and relax, fish wade or sit and watch the water. Calm soothing and excellent.

Great family friendly. Nice place for kids to hang out and shred some boards

This place is so big ,spacious there are so many things to get a big trick off of whether skàteboard ,bmx, a warning though if you aren't experienced this park can intimidate very easy....

AMAZING park!!! I've been skateboarding on and off for a number of years, and have skated plenty of parks all over PA, from Woodward to FDR, and I have to say, this is by far the best I've been too yet. The diversity of obstacles is immense, bringing skaters of all ages and skill levels into one, expertly crafted park. Well done York PA.

Great park, great fields!!

It is fun to watch the young people skateboard 🛹 it was hot but they keep going wish I could do it but it is fun just watching my granddaughter do it. It would be great if they had the bathroom open for them.

Although this complex has not spread out in the traditional spoke configuration, I do have a number of fields and I'll tell you what type in the field Crews here work harder than anyone I've ever seen to get these fields ready, particularly after a hard rain the night before. We were able to get into tournament solely because of the heroic work done by the groundskeepers. We're very appreciative of that. Location is nice, so not much bad to say. Fields were well manicured the grass was almost too thick and too even in the Outfield. But, who's to say what's too much of a good thing least it was easy on the feet the one down is that in their dugouts, the benches are really really short. They could do with dugouts with some kind of roof also having said that the fences are all new and everything else was just Tip-Top. Plenty of parking space. Definitely worth the trip, two thumbs up

This park is a gem, stays lit up pretty late, friendly environment.
