This motel is so cute and retro, and a great value for the money. Management was friendly, the room was clean and quiet. There was a mini fridge, microwave,TV, and a window air conditioning unit that worked great in the room. Very pleased with the Modernaire and would stay again!

This motel is as vintage as you can find, glass bricks, neon and all. I have stayed in many small older motels, and is one where I really felt comfortable and happy. Our room was spacious, and the everything was very clean and well maintained. The bedroom decor is mid-century modern... the REAL kind and in great , well cared for condition. The bathroom was brand-new and squeaky clean. The room had a nice tv with many channels. Our Modernaire stay was a pleasant experience and I will stay there again if ever back in York.

Really like the character of the decor. It's completely outdated 60's or 70's era design with lots of faux wood paneling. A relief from the bland and sterile 90's decor of contemporary motels. Service is very polite. Room was clean and warm. I'd stay here again.

It's not a completely terrible place to stay... And it is pretty outdated and a little run down but you get what you pay for. whoever was running the front desk at the time though was super nice and saved the room for us even though we were running late. If you're looking for a fast, easy, inexpensive place to stay the night that has many different stores and restaurants within easy access than this is probably place.

Its ok if you want cheep hotel bathroom but the was very clean but the bedroom had a bad oder it smelled like urem

I stayed here MANY times. To the point they knew me by name.
The last two times were inside rooms. Saw a roach both times and will never go back!

Poor room when I was there. I could smell it. Vintage brick work inside with vintage dust.

They never pick up the phone so I guess they don't want our money. I was trying to book several rooms for a couple weeks but I'll guess we'll take our cash elsewhere
