It is about 2/3 of a mile walk from the Conewago Day Use parking lot. It is mostly flat with a few hills. The view from the Boulder is nice, but as others have said the actual Boulder is hard to climb onto for that cute photo op.

Hike is good and kid friendly. The boulder itself is tough to climb on. It is easier to throw your kids up there to get a picture. Its still worth the visit if you are in the park.

This is a great spot to get a beautiful view of the lake. Perfect spot to take a rest while hiking around the park.
