Farmer's Table

We walked in early on a Saturday evening to see if they had a table for 4 (after the restaurant we had originally booked looked grim...) and were immediately greeted with warmth and professionalism. They offered to create a 4 top for us in a quiet corner and whisked us to the table. The service and food that followed were both terrific. A great lesson in hospitality. Make people feel welcome and feed them terrific, straight forward food with attentive but not overbearing service and reasonable prices!

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Rob, Lucia and the staff do a great job. Farmer's Table has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Fairfield County.

I absolutely like the concept of "farm to plate". I'm a 'healthy eater' and this restaurant has given me nothing but the best. Lucia is the best- absolutely nice on phone and very pleasant in person

Celebrated a friend’s birthday here this week and the experience could not have been better. The hostess was friendly, willing to switch our table, accept an outside birthday cake and asked the staff to sing to my friend. All after half of our party showed up 45 minutes late! And the food was spectacular. So hearty, flavorful and healthy.

This restaurant is wonderful for so many reasons! My partner and I have had dinner here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed by their staff. The appetizers are delicious, their vegetables are always fresh, and they have the most incredible key lime pie I’ve ever eaten. We were fortunate to have Corey as our waiter each time we’ve come for dinner, and he is such a lovely person. He’s attentive, polite, and really takes his time to ensure you have a quality dining experience. We even got to chat with him about his hometown in Louisiana and learn more about where he was from which was great. The employees and the food make this place really special! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Fantastic! I went here with 3 girlfriends for dinner and it was delicious! I forgot to get a picture of the cheese plate we got for an app, but it was stellar! The meals were 👌 and the desserts were a perfect finish! Key lime pie is the best I've ever had and the flan was probably the best I've had as well! I didn't catch our waiters name, but he was great and he waited on our table on Tues, May 4th. Thank you!

We’ve been going to Farmer’s Table for years and it’s our favorite restaurant in New Canaan, Greenwich or Westport. The food is simply delicious. Most of the vegetables are from
Robert and Lucia’s garden, and the meats are from Robert’s brother’s farm. So, in this time when the quality of meat is degraded, at Farmer’s Table they are excellent. And the fish is super-fresh. My favorite dishes are the salmon or the chicken or beef tacos. Also, the cheese plate. And Robert makes these fantastic soups, such as crab and shrimp, or corn. And the arugula salad, or market salad. My wife and I live in Manhattan where there’ are no shortage of great restaurants and we commute to Connecticut to eat at Farmer’s Table, which is as good as any restaurants in town. Finally, in season you can eat outdoors. As you can see, I can’t say enough about this wonderful restaurant, about Lucia, and about her husband Robert’s delicious cuisine!

Fantastic evening at The Farmer's Table! We had a delicious start with crab bisque and beet salads. Then we each chose a different entree: duck confit tacos, a mixed grill, jerk chicken and crab cakes. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned and exquisitely prepared. In addition, our server was attentive to our needs. We can't wait to go back.

Very impressive showing from Farmer's Table.

The menu changes regularly, which is the hallmark of a farm-to-table restaurant. The seafood chowder is fantastic -- well balanced with the right consistency. The lamb chops could be some of the best I've ever had and the salmon is excellent.

How a restaurant does its salmon is always interesting, because just about everyone either creates a boring slab of pink fish or, to avoid that, an overly dressed pink amalgamation of spices and glazes. Here -- it's just the right mix.

Wine list is average but they offer a few interesting beers.

Drawback #1: no website makes it hard to see what is on the menu.

Visited for the first time this weekend and had tremendous meal. The food, service, and ambiance were beyond expectations. Highly recommend.

A delightful dining experience, especially for my VEGAN wife and daughter. Diverse and totally fresh menu, efficient and unobtrusive service. Kitchen more than willing to modify dishes for dietary preference and hyper-vigilant about allergies.

We are new to the area but Farmer's Table has become our go-to. The people are great, and everything we've tried from the menu so far has been tremendous. The crab bisque is addicting

Wonderful food. Tuna tacos, and grilled shrimp salad. So fresh. Try the bread pudding with maple sherry sauce and peach sangria! Great service.

Swordfish was amazing, it was a special so not on the regular menu. Probably best meal I've ever had at a restaurant. Have to go back and try more!
