Abis is like family to us! We have been coming to Abis since my daughters were little kids. We are now brining our grandchildren here! This is our go to spot for any family celebration and we always feel so welcomed by the staff! The food is amazing! The service is even better!

grew up eating Abis on greenwich ave. and will never get over how good it is. standards still high as ever. butter still delicious as all hell. i have a special place in my heart for this restaurant and hope it stays forever.

My first time here and it was a very pleasant experience. I came to Connecticut for work and was in the mood for sushi and I'm very glad I stopped here. They were extremely friendly as soon as I walked in the door and the food was excellent. Price was definitely affordable came out very fast. My whole experience was great will definitely come again next time I am in this area

For was good and service was excellent front St Patrick's Day. They have a brunch buffet on weekend also.

The hibachi was wonderful :
Everything was very tasty.
In addition I ordered veggie gyoza that was SO yum I recommend it with the mustard sauce I had miso soup that was not too salty and nice tasting as well.
My main course was agedashi tofu and it was served differently than I ever had it.
Neither was it too deep fried but also the tofu was a little firm as well which was nice.
The coolest thing was that the hibachi grill was tones and the chef took time to make melodies on it before cooking.
He served me like he would have served his own family and his care brought a tear to my eye and I decided to hum a tune I new, in joy.
I highly recommend this place. We were a part of three and two steak eaters and I was pure vegetarian. (Fried eggs optionally on the menu as well.)
This place served me wonderful delicious kindly and they have delightful statues of the Bodhisattva Kuan-yin as well as Shakyamuni Buddha.
May all be happy.

I had a great time here with my niece and nephew. A good menu for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Let them know if you have dietary issues.

Top notch!! Real traditional japanese hibachi and sushi bar with japanese chefs. The staff are courteous and polite. Due to popular demand, it is helpful to make a reservation on hibachi side and sometime you have to wait a little bit but in general this place has large enough space to serve customers. I had a great time with my family and our chef did a great job performing fire show and provided excellent meal for my kids.
Enough said i was definitely satisfied and giving this place 5 stars.

The most DELICIOUS and FUN hibachi restaurant in the world!!!! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! The service is outstanding and our chef was the funnest we’ve ever had!!!! Definitely recommend this place! We will be back every time that we are in Connecticut!!!!

Shared a quick and quiet sushi bite on a Saturday afternoon around 5. The sushi is priced on the lower side for the area which I can appreciate, especially because the quality is not diminished. My husband and i tried 2 new drinks from the menu which were bomb and the staff was prompt and pleasant as well.
My only observation was- that there was slightly less salmon in the salmon avocado rolls we ordered, however, I would highly recommend Abis!

The hibachi is a lot of fun for the whole family while their fresh sushi and sashimi keeps you coming back. Prime location in the heart of Greenwich, with its traditional Japanese style decor is a great place for all types of occasions.

So fresh! Everything was spot on! My friend wanted to try one type of sashimi, but the owner said it wasn't fresh enough and recommended an alternate which was yummy. I had fried oysters and a lunch box consisting of a little of everything! Totally satisfying. My friend told him it was my birthday, and he surprised us with complimentary fried icecream. Love this place!

My favorite restaurant! Family friendly, and the food is awesome. At dinner it can be expensive but the lunch specials are extremely economical. I often have food leftover for later in the week. I would totally recommend this place for everyone!

Pricier than other hibachi places. But the food was great and the chef performed tricks I've seen nowhere else. Have you ever seen your chef stick his hand in the fire without getting burned? I did here!

This had got to be my favorite Japanese restaurant in greenwhich! It's super convenient and fast, right on the Avenue and the food is always delicious! I've been here countless times and I've never had a meal short of incredible! I'd highly reccomend going for lunch and getting a great deal on a beautiful lunch box! Go here!

Consistently delicious. Love the salmon hibachi and fried rice. Great meals and memories. Staff is incredible. Love the ice cream too. Lucky to have thus gem nearby.
