Al’s and E’s are absolutely the best! I have have used the service of Eric twice and each time was true professionalism! Eric made sure my carpets looked like new each time I used his services. Eric has been very honest and very fair with his services, not trying to rip anyone off but gives you his best! I am so pleased with Al's & E's carpet cleaning! The carpet in my new office looks beautiful, does not have a strong chemical smell, and the pricing was affordable. Throughout the entire process it was clear that Eric and his team take immense pride in their work. I highly recommend Al's & E's Carpet Cleaning.

I highly recommend Al's & E's Carpet Cleaning! They did such a great job restoring the very soiled and discolored carpet in the house we just purchased. It looks brand new. They spent extra-time to work on the stains and ensure our satisfaction. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them for carpet cleaning.

After several unsuccessful uses of carpet cleaning products and Kirby demos, I was really at my wit's end with my soiled living room Berber carpet ( juice spills, dirt from foot traffic etc...) which needed an extreme cleaning.

I came across Al & E's Carpet on Groupon and it was THE BEST decision that I could have made. I was still thinking that it was going to be another disappointing outcome BUT I was sssooo wrong!

They were very professional and accommodating to my schedule. Mr. Eric arrived 15 minutes early and he explained the process to me step by step and was very knowledgeable and thorough. As a female, I am huge on things being explained and my questions answered. Mr. Eric put me at ease and was very patient and able to answer my questions no matter how small.

Now I enjoy walking into my living room and entertaining now that my carpet is clean. I would highly recommend Al & E's to anyone and have in fact recommended them already to several of my friends.

Rip off carpet cleaning artists.

I hope these carpet cleaning artists have their day in court!
I bought Groupon $49 deal to clean my 1 BR rental apartment. I read fine print about extra fee for heavily stained and soiled carpets so when I spoke with owner over phone I explained to him the condition of carpet. I’ve just wanted to refresh carpet in living room and bedroom. He showed up and started complaining about the condition of carpet. He tried to convince me to "upgrade" package. Basically told me the job can’t be done if I don’t “upgrade” my package. I feel that no matter what your carpet looks like, he says it is too dirty need to use special machine and charge you EXTRA $$$. Regardless of what you initially agreed to, the price suddenly starts to increase. End up asking to pay $150 more to get same service.

Price changing rip offs. I told him to leave.
I am very disappointed with both, the vendor and Groupon.
Avoid these guys!

I too bought a groupon. I spoke with Al (think? the father) about 30 minutes over phone when making appointment. I told him honestly the carpets were VERY VERY OLD (moved in few years ago), only had cleaned professionally twice & cleaned with machine 2xs over last 3 years. Carpets thin & dull colors, but we rent so not buying new. Also told him always were stained (when we moved in, prior tenants had pets too), & since we lived there, I have a pet. I also board pets (2-3 here & there), so been some accidents. He told me that he did have PET FRESH treatment that he would use for additional cost. I asked him how much? Gave him room measurements. I clearly detailed our 2nd floor of 2-family apartment. I even asked him if he could do an onsite estimate to be sure he could do job within an additional $100 (willing to pay over Groupon of $65). He would not quote any prices nor come to estimate. Fine, so we spent 2 HOURS, moving furniture out of rug rooms (O, by the way, groupon DOES NOT include moving furniture, never saw that on Groupon), so we did it. He shows up, walking around home, & then asks me what stains are from pets? Really? I don't know, I could guess certain areas. Oh, he also says EXTRA $$ to go up to our 2nd floor (we are on 2nd floor, then upstairs (5 small stairs) is an attic turned into 2 SMALL bedrooms, my home total is maybe 150 sq ft of carpet! So, I ask him HOW MUCH? I understand extra costs, what are they? Then we can decide if all rooms can be done etc…Well, he was very difficult, keep trying to explain how carpets cleaning was much more complex than I knew, that this had to be done & that, OK, ok I said, HOW MUCH? He keeps trying to explain the cleaning process & etc etc…REALLY??? I’ve had carpets cleaned in other homes at least 20 or more times in my 50 years of life. No other person or company gave me such a HARD TIME nor wasted my time in this way. I GAVE UP, told him to leave & then had to scurry around to find a cleaning machine & do it ourselves!!! Wasn’t going to put back 4 rooms of furniture & hours of work onto dirty carpets! WHAT A JERK! Groupon fully refunded. What a way to do biz???

Brutal service and poor results. Sounds similar to other stories on here.

1. Booked a Groupon cleaning...

2. They show up and upcharge us to a deeper clean package that would be better since previous tenant had a dog...

3. Carpets were WORSE after they were through with them, new stains on the carpet that were not there previously. True that they likely needed a second round of cleaning and you would think they would stand by their job and come back without question....which they agreed to do but then...

4. Asked for them to please come back as we have tenants moving into the apartment and he couldn’t get there for 3 weeks (not the end of the world at first). The touch up scheduled day comes, out tenants are waiting for them in a 10-10:30 time slot. No word from them so I called at 11:30 and they claimed they needed to reschedule and were going to let us know but hadn’t gotten around to it yet...right.

5. Although annoyed, we agreed they would come on Monday between 2-2:30. Our tenants and my wife/myself are at work so punctuality is important here you would think. Nope. They called us at 12pm saying they were on the way, we had no way of getting home because everyone is at work and we planned around 2-2:30 timeframe. He said he couldn’t “wait around for 2 1/2 hours for us to get home and would have to reschedule AGAIN.

6. I called him and he said he was “helping us out”, he didn’t have to be doing this and that I shouldn’t give him a hard time. I explained this is about punctuality, and he cuts me off and says “I DONT CATE ABOUT PUNCTUALITY, I don’t have to do this, I’m out, call Stanley.” Hung Up the phone and left.

Guess what, that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Never call these guys and certainly avoid their bogus Groupon.

Unprofessional and terrible work ethic. Arrived hours late - I called and it sounded like I woke them up - bout an hour after they were supposed to be there. They misled me about their machinery that I specifically questioned them about and then it turned out they couldn't get their machine through my front door. My standard issue front door. They left and I had to get a refund. Never again they are the worst.

Didn't show up. Called to cancel the day of my appointment. My husband and I spent time the night before moving our furniture for the appointment. Awful service.
