The Reefshack

I just moved from Texas to CT for work. I went here for my lunch break and was welcomed with great food and great company from the owner behind the bar. The whole place is a solid 10/10. If your not from CT, give this place a shot. You won’t regret it. (This place has $4 beers btw)

Ordered the reef out cheesesteak with no peppers, a da luke with avocado and egg, cheese fries and chowder fries.

The order was right out exactly on time, the servers were quick and friendly. The food was expertly wrapped which made it easy to take home.

When we got home the food itself had huge portions and was brilliant and tasty. Definitely worth future visits.

Nice spot for a quick bite. Need to check out the live music they keep bringing in soon.

Hector, Hannah and the whole crew do an amazing job. The place keeps refreshing and trying new things. Thankful for a spot like this town.

Visited Reef Shack for lunch and was very impressed with everything we had! They’re really well known for their cheesesteaks, so we ordered a half sandwich of the Reefer Cheesesteak, which was super filling. The bread comes fresh from the Bronx daily! We also had the Jersey Shore breakfast sandwich, which comes with Taylor Ham (Pork Roll) fresh from New Jersey. I think it’s awesome how the owners of the Reef Shack go the extra mile to bring in things that are tough to find in CT like Taylor Ham! The wings had plenty of meat on the bone, and the homemade Italian ice sorbets were super refreshing. They have a ton of flavors to choose from, and I’d love to come back in the summer for more. The frozen lemonade is also a good choice! The Reef Shack is super laid back, and I really look forward to coming back in the warmer weather to enjoy their patio area.

Not sure what happened to my old review, but this place is still 5 star after 6 months. I’ve had cheesesteaks (both chicken and steak), their chicken little sandwich, a bunch of bacon egg and cheeses, cheese burger, and omelettes. All of them have a few things in common: quality ingredients, large portions, and a ton of flavor.

Best staff ever! Shout out to Trey and Hector. The owner Jason, so nice and helps me out. They have the most fun games and best food ever. Good location, very social, kind, and nice.Thank you for everything.

Reef Shack is one of our new favorite spots in Fairfield. All of the staff are so nice and helpful while you are looking over their huge menu. They offer a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They are also starting to have longer hours each day of the week so you can enjoy for any meal of the day. Check them out if you haven't already! Pictured are their delicious tacos, which I would 100% recommend.

This place has amazing food, great service, and a nice vibe. It's a great spot for affordable, quality eats in the neighborhood.

Hahaha Menu is cute here! We had the “Moms of Fairfield” and “Jersey Shore” breakfast sandwiches. Doesn’t open till 11 though. 😋 I kinda miss the old 7-11 slurpie but you can get boozy icees at the Reef Shack. Lol. Love the outdoor space here. Nice service and Fun vibe.

The food is absolutely amazing, the staff is respectful and fast. The place is full of great vibes when it comes to atmosphere, good music, lots of TV's, comforable seating. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Great spot in Fairfield for a mid-week meet up. I met about 10 of my old high school buddies who I haven’t seen in over 30 years here. The food was fantastic and super reasonable. We had some steak subs and pizzas. Service was great and the owners couldn’t have accommodated us better. Nice clean and casual place with great food priced fairly that 10 guys can meet at and talk about the old days on a Thursday night- what more can a guy want? I’ll be back for sure. Great addition to a great town.

Hector the sauce man provides amazing food, and we highly recommend the lettuce shot! Great, fun atmosphere!

Great place for a really high quality sandwich. The bread is great, and ingredients are superb. They have the best cheesesteak outside of the Philadelphia area, but there are many great items on the menu to choose from, no matter what kind of food you're looking for. Definitely recommend.

Great food, great service! We place a large order for 10+ people and we have such a difficult time finding restaurants that meet dietary needs and can handle an order that large. Food was GREAT, amazing variety, but most importantly IT WAS ALL CORRECT! Everyone got the meal they asked for - - special instructions followed, no one was missing anything. That is so hard to come by! The portions are also generous - if you get a full sub its going to last 2 meals. Cant wait to order from them again!

I own a local business in Fairfield and just started recently ordering delivery for those busy days. Each time the orders were here quicker than expected. I'm making my way through the menu and so far everything I've ordered has been incredible. I will say if you're ordering Reef shack prepare to have an appetite, the portion sizes are VERY Generous.
