Steve Zeisler's Painting

Steve's team did a great job painting my house. By way of background, I used to have my own house painting business, so I am perhaps more particular than the average homeowner. I got four proposals for the work. Steve's estimate was the most reasonable and he was the most responsive to follow up questions and adjustments to the scope of work. His team worked fast, cleaned up the site every day and had good attention to the details. I had a couple of punch list items after they finished, which they handled promptly without any questions. I highly recommend Steve Zeisler's Painting.

We had the exterior of our home sanded and stained by Steve Zeisler and his company. It was two years ago now and the wood was in bad shape. Took a lot of heavy sanding. After two years the house still looks like new. It was such a good job that our neighbor just asked us who did the work as they wanted to contact Steve. Very fair prices. From our experience I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who needs their home painted.

Steve, I could not be more pleased with the recent work of your crews on our property. Our entire house and three-car garage were prepped and painted exactly on time and to the penny of the estimate you gave us beforehand. We own a large, old (19th c.) Colonial, which is not the easiest on which to work, but this might be its best painting ever. In addition, your crew removed old shutters and plugged many screw holes perfectly. This painting company did a great job painting our house this past summer. They did a very thorough job preparing the house (sanding and scraping) before the painting. Their crew was courteous and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I highly recommend them.

Zeisler's did a great job on our home. They took special care not to make a mess and were very particular. They made our place look like new and we are very pleased. My neighbors used them too. The only challenge was finding time to book them in the middle of busy season.

Highly recommend this company. His crew arrived on time every day... took a short 30 min or less break every day and just worked nonstop. They did an excellent job, cleaned up at the end of every day and were meticulous with the quality of the work . Oh... and their pricing was fair and beat most other bids. Exceptional work!

Uses contractors of dubious quality. He'll make the rounds at beginning and end. If your house is large and in a prominent location you'll probably get a better job. Can't really recommend. Then again there are few quality painters around here anymore.

We had a terrible experience with Steve Zeisler's Painting. They came in with the best quote to paint our exterior and replace rotted trim and a neighbor recommended them. A year later we have spent over $3,000 fixing all the trim we paid them to repair and we are seeing chipped paint and wood-rot and all they offered in return was a few hundred dollar refund. Really the worst job I have ever seen as a homeowner and in my job as a real estate agent. Very frustrating as we are still paying for other painters to re-do their work correctly.

Zeisler's unsupervised workers destroyed our roof with old ladders which will cost $62,000 to replace, had to claim on our home insurance which does not cover all of it. They also gouged the wood siding with rotary sanders. Now they put a lien on the house because we held back some $$ due to the damage. Though we have paid him $63,000, he was aggressive and threatening when we asked him to repair sanding marks. I cannot recommend this company.

Painting companies like Zeisler are a dime a dozen...Many just go to the labor pool, pick up a guy, stick a paintbrush In their hand and call them painters. and when you complain, they call you crazy, unreasonable and tell you to go have another drink. Don't bother with Steve Zeisler...save yourself the money and headaches.
