Absolutely devastated they will close, and would mortgage my entire home for one more evening with New England’s greatest pie. Thank you Salerno’s, for being the kitchen of our generation. 🕯🍕❤‍🔥🙏

This place is great. The last meal we had was a calzone and meatball grinder. The magic with the grinder was the meatballs were chopped up ensuring very bite was filled with meatballs and cheese. The calzone was made with scamorza cheese which is phenomenal. We had take out this time but the dine in is a great experience.

I grew up eating at Salerno's and have been a fan for over 50 years. I've never been let down. From their dinners to pizzas.

Best pizza in Stratford. Best meatball grinders too! My go to whenever I'm in town. Been coming here since the 70's.

Loved my whole eating experience plus the plum tomato basil pizza did not disappoint!

I love this place. I grew up spending the summer at my cousin's house a half mile away. All winter long I would dream about this ah-beets made with scamorza. What a memory. I live over an hour away but every once in awhile I make the trip. It's so worth it!!

Seasonal plum tomato pie is excellent, everything on the menu is good, been going there since I was a kid.....

Whenever the wife and I consider trying someplace 'NEW' ... We always end up 'Chickening Out' and calling Salerno's to order our 'Favorite' ... Large Sausage & Mushroom Abeets !! .. lol ..

My husband and I ate at Salerno’s tonight; we both ordered lasagna. For starters, we were given a basket of freshly made garlic bread, followed by side salads that came with the meal. These salads, loaded with veggies, are big enough for a meal on their own.

The lasagna was delicious! They came out pipping hot with fresh melted mozzarella. The homemade tomato sauce was delicious. You can just tell everything is homemade from scratch.

This meal did not disappoint, and I bet all of the other meals are just as tasty! We will be back!

Local establishment that's been around forever. Their pizza is delicious and a departure from the thin crust pizzas. I can only speak to their takeout and I have never gotten anything that was not delicious. Their eggplant, whether you have it as a parm or in a pizza, is to die for. Get your next dinner from here!

I luckily, live right down the street from Salerno's. Every year, I MUST have their plum pie! It is just exquisite - a perfect pie. Service is great, too. You couldn't find a better place

First time ordering pizza from this restaurant and dude that's hands down best in the area. The 2 young women at the window from placing my order till pickup had such happy energy that made the experience super awesome. I had a white pizza w/ meatballs thin crust well done and a side of meatballs w/gravy delicious 👍👍👍👍👍🇮🇹🤙

We had the plum tomato pizza tonight. It was so delicious. We missed it lasr year but so glad we ordered it tonight. My daughter loved her eggplant grinder. The eggplants were thinly sliced and a great grinder. Thank you, Salerno’s.

Now that is what pizza should taste like. Great food and great service and prices are fair for the quality. My first time back in over twenty years and I am impressed.

Great pizza. Plum tomato pie is awesome. There will be a wait if you're eating there but its worth it. Classic pizza restaurant inside. Their other stuff is good too. My daugther likes the Ravioli and meatballs are A+.

I've been going to Salerno since I was a little kid. Now going every summer for the plum Pizza has become a tradition. It's unlike any other Pizza you will have!

I come here from Kentucky every time I return to visit friends and relatives at least once a year and I'm never disappointed! The lasagna I had tonight was worth the trip just for that. I just hope I have time to go there again before having to return home. All the food is great. The only problem is deciding what to eat!😋😋😋

I’d like to give a shout-out to Wendy. A supposed friend of the owner was picking up his pizza when I was placing my order. When he inquired on his pizza it had come out but he hadn’t been notified yet. He stood there and berated her. Cudos to Wendy she handled herself very well with this irate customer. She’s a keeper. Your so called friend not so much. Not able to order by phone so I drove from Beacon Falls and waited. Plum pies were delicious and worth the wait.
