Gala Foods Supermarket

I love this place! It’s clean and the staff are friendly! I go there to get a sub! You take a number from the ticket machine, they call your number and you place your order and they give you a sandwich bag and receipt. They make your sandwich while you go to the register and pay for your sandwich. Then take the receipt back to the sandwich area and they take it, give you a paid sticker and THEN ALAS, you get your amazing sub! I could probably eat a sub here everyday! Wish they did breakfast sandwiches!

I love going to supermarkets with such diverse items available. The international section is usually my go to because of the flavor palette I enjoy so Gala so far was nice. I've only been there once so far and I didn't buy much but so far I'll give it 5 stars. Cashier's were friendly and the store was very organized.

Been coming here as a kid when it was Compare. Good people and they have those hard to get spices ect. Good sandwiches, and fresh Deli.

All around great grocery store. It feels locally run which makes it even better. They have Mexican food items which is amazing, including corn tortillas that they make ahead of time and sell in a bag for $0.99 - so good and a must try. They also sell fresh bread daily from a bakery nearby (Chaves bakery) - the bread is also delicious. They sell all kinds of food and the meat is much cheaper than surrounding stores. They even have non-dairy milk! Their produce selection is wonderful and fairly priced. The only thing I'm missing is hummus, but besides that, everything is top notch. Highly recommend.

I've been going here since a kid. They just recently changed the name, but the prices remain the same. Even the same familiar faces throughout the years. They have a great bakery department and fresh produce. They never leave anything on their shelves expired, unlike those other stores. In addition, they have baked goods, and other items for Haitian people. I absolutely love this store.

Conveniently located off cl, bus 5 bus line. They have a great assortment of foods. Esp like cuts of meat. Well stocked full service deli. I remember when they were Compare. Similar setup. Prices are a little higher but well worth it in a pinch. I see a lot of families walking to and from store so it has become a West End staple.

Great spot to shop for all your meals for the week or month. Vibes from the employees are great which means management is doing there job right. Happy workers = happy customers

They had everything i needed. They also have many products you won't find in that big shopping store based out of Massachusetts.

Wonderful place to go GROCERY Shopping at even for any of your favorite household items that you may need and they also have a rewards program that you can use to get items for free or even save money on your shopping trip

I shop here all the time, the prices and everyday sales are amazing, I don't have to budget when shopping here, I can get a shopping cart full under $100

Produce section has everything. I was looking for ginger sticks and I found them. Good sales.
