Excellent store with a very kind staff that even offer coffee while shopping. They helped me find what I needed quick and gave me some pointers to improve my project. Impressive organization of products with fair prices.

This is one of the best local stores around. They have everything here and what they don't have, they are happy to order for you. Run by very nice people who are happy to help and answer any questions about products or projects. Such a nice change from the big stores where no one seems to care that you are standing there. The quality of their merchandise is excellent and some is backed by the Do it Best lifetime guarantee which they honor without question (save your receipts.) Although some prices may be slightly higher than larger stores, I've found that often, they are the same or cheaper than other stores. If you want the convenience of having a hardware store right around the corner, make sure you give these guys your business. They deserve it.

This place is great. I always get a hello and smile from the lovely lady at the cash register who has taken the time to learn my name. I never have to go searching for a thing, because someone is always available to help. And I love the smell. Reminds me of my childhood before big box stores existed and a hardware store smelled liked wood and the outdoors instead of recycled air and metal shelving. Keough's is very impressive. When you show up they help you for anything and everything -- they have a very positive culture, and they have high quality material across all aspects. Their paint process is great and they also have a very broad set of high quality home improvements. I would highly recommend them!

I love this place. Always get what I need at a fair price with service that goes the extra mile. I was able to complete a recent plumbing repair with only one trip to the store ( a first for me), because the salesperson asked all the right questions.

The store is conveniently located, well stocked and employs a professional and helpful staff. Anyone looking for old-fashion values and customer appreciation should stop in and talk with the General Manager, Ray Barrett. He goes above and beyond to prove that this local business deserves your support!

This is a small-town-style hardware store. Good, knowledgeable, friendly people who go out of their way to make you feel at home and give you the assistance you need. I read a review that said prices are high, and I can’t disagree with that, but joining their rewards program more than makes up for it. They also have DIY-branded items that are of good quality (in most cases) and will help keep the cost down. The location in Ridgefield is smaller. Big enough to find most common hardware store goods. If there is something you need that they don’t stock in-store, chances are they can get it from their warehouse and have it ready for pickup in the store pick it up at the store in a day or two.

I had a Webber Grill burner stop working. Called Webber for support and they offered to have Keough's Paint & Hardware come service the grill. Well, I expected the worst and was completely blown away ... Keough's followed up with Webber, and then with me. They identified the right part and then sent a staff member to install it. The staff member, Tony, called upon his arrival to be certain that we new he had arrived. Then he called again to report success with the installation and that the Webber was running perfectly. Outstanding follow-up. Outstanding service. Incredibly professional! I would highly recommend them in ALL regards.
