Webb Mountain Discovery Zone

What a great place! Excellent place for kids. Plenty of trails to hike. Plenty of picnic tables around. 2 port-o-lets in the parking lot area. Suggest to bring water as I didn't see any type of fountain, Trail maps provided. Scavenger hunt there too! Still fun in 35 degrees and cold rain! Will definitely be back! Enjoy!

I have been walking and hiking here for many years. It’s a fantastic place to bring family & friends (2 legged and 4 legged) 😂 Beautiful natural surroundings with a nice small selection of loops and trails that are clearly marked and well maintained. Along the trails you will find interesting points marked with information and history about the forest 🌳 and some historical facts about the area. Webb Mountain Discovery Zone is a gem that can be enjoyed at anytime of the year! Be sure to make your way up to the hay field and relax on a bench and enjoy the view…

Easy access and worth the trip for a beautiful break in the monotony of life. I enjoy it there and always find something new that momma nature wants to share.

This is a great new spot in Monroe to take the kids on a nature walk. They have a small butterfly garden off to the side and a few trails to go on. They have a scavenger hunt sheet to go threw along the walk and some really great areas on the trails to tell about the area, animals in the area and you may be able to see some as well. The kids I watched had a great time going threw!!

I've been visiting this park for years. It is a great place for the kids to explore, learn about the local habitat, and get exposure to various terrains. They do have some lengthy trails in my opinion. My last visit I didn't see much map references so knowing if a particular trail is a loop or not was difficult to figure out (a couple named trails specifically indicate they are a loop). Perhaps that will be available in what they are creating with the current construction (June 2019). I'll certainly be visiting repeatedly.

A wonderful nature reserve that is tended with care by people that truly love nature. There are great programs for summer time for the kids to get out of the house and in touch with the natural world around them. They even have fun holiday themed events that tie in the nature and animals found in the reserve.

Nice place to walk throw the forest with kids. Grab a scavenger hunt paper and walk. The trails make a circle, so you won't get lost. There are some benches on the way. The trails are pretty wide, but there are roots and stones - not good for strolling.

My kids love web mountain! They did summer camp here and two other programs so far. My oldest used to be scared of worms and bugs. Now he'll hold them and is so interested in nature. They have amazing programs. Definitely worth checking out!
