Peppers Jamaican Bakery & Jerk

OMG! The food is absolutely amazing. It’s been years since I’ve been there and yesterdays visit reminded me how good the food really is. The beef and chicken patties were fresh as well as the goat and ox tail. Nothing compares to Peppers!

The curry goat is the way to go here. I have yet to try the oxtail. But the goat is amazing and the patties are also very good. The soup as well is delicious and fresh. A good place to hit up for lunch take out.

Stop for a quick bite around lunch time. Food was good, great proportions, and very filling. Definitely will be going back. If your ever in East Hartford make sure you check it out.

Pepper's has amazing Jamaican food. They have everything you want curry goat, oxtail Chicken patties, beef patties, there Coco bread is really good. And there's a lot more I'm forgetting. Just check out the menu. Try it out.

Been here a couple times now. I'm really thrilled with their take on a Jerk Fish filled patty. It's really great! All the other stuff is on par with the other Jamaican bakeries I tend to frequent. Of Course, I only frequent the best ones.

The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered an oxtail dinner, and a meatloaf pattie. After 40 years of cooking and loving Jamaican food, this is the best takeout I've had in awhile.

Best Jamaican food I’ve ever had! Rice was nice and moist, plenty of meat not a lot of bone, just the right amount of curry, superb!

Great food! We had jerk chicken, beef patties, coca bread, and chocolate cake all wonderful. Plus a great nostalgia trip for my girlfriend who grew up going there to eat.

Grew up going here, have since moved away and think about how delicious this place is constantly.

Best jamaican bakery around. Everything is great and fresh. The staff is second to none! Make sure to order more food then you think, once you start eating it's hard to stop!

I have been working in east hartford for a couple months and have been trying various Jamaican restaurants . Peppers is definitely a friendly place with authentic delicious Jamaican cuisine.

Went for lunch. Got the medium curry goat. It was delicious, the portion was huge. I was able to eat it for dinner as well.

The food is always delicious. But the customer service is awful. The women at the front counter are always so rude. The delicious food makes it worth it though

Mmm, mmm, mm! Don't go here, you'll only get delicious mouthchomping, Jamaican-me-hungry foods and finger-licking, mouth-watering desserts! Nope, definitely don't go here! This is my secret treasure! ALL MINE!!

Randomly dropped in when I had a job nearby and time for lunch. The oxtails were fantastic! I hope I end up nearby again soon.
