Best food in Huntington! Been going there since I was a kid. 67 now

We tried this place on Sunday for breakfast and it was terrific! We always like to try a local small business and found this place to be among the best breakfast in Shelton. Everything is made to order. Hot and fresh. I ordered the cheese omelet. It came with homefries and toast. I like to try this first because I find it a good judge of how greasy the other dishes would be. It was great! Not greasy. The home fries were like my grandmother made them. Hot and not over powered by onion. Much better than you would get at say Duchess. My fiancee got the meat lovers omelet. It was delicious. Had all the breakfast meats in it. We took home 2 orders of french toast with bacon. Sweet and well cooked. Much better than most. Not burnt or soggy. This place is a small gem in Huntington. Please do not overlook. You can also call in an order and it is ready when you arrive to pick it up. We will be back to try lunch! Friendly and fresh!

My family hit this spot after a stay at the Hampton Inn. This is what we were looking for, good old, throwback style, diner. Staff and owners looked like they really cared about their customers. You guys have a winner Shelton! Support this wonderful small business, community! Did I mention the food was wonderful!!! 👍🏽

Best sandwich I've had in a long time. It's great you can see the chefs cooking right there. Friendly staff, clean premises. My family really enjoyed our experience here. Next time we're in Connecticut we'll definitely come back

This is a great no frills spot. Wish I had found it sooner. Large portions of perfectly prepared food. Will be back!

Walked in for a quick breakfast sandwich., was met with a pleasant greeting and wonderful service.. I must say the food was delicious. (Bacon egg and cheese).I will be back.

Amazing, authentic diner food! My husband’s eggs were so perfect that he wouldn’t try my potato salad because it would dilute the memory of his eggs and hash. My turkey club was also excellent. The place had a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the staff were attentive and quick. We will definitely be going back!

Amazing! We tried this place today because my uncle likes it so my dad and I went to get a gift certificate, and we tried it. So amazing. Amazing food, fast service, friendly staff, it's a cute diner and good location, just great. Definitely coming here again.

First time "accidental" visitor today. I was hungry and looked for the closest place on my way from point A to point B. Very unassuming place. The staff could not be nicer and the food was delish! I asked for my corned beef hash (homemade) well done and it wasn't cooked quite enough for my taste. I apologetically asked if they could cook it some more. With a smile and no hesitation, they put it back on the grill and even re-cooked my eggs so they'd be fresh. My new place to love!

Super tasty food, very impressed. We got Greek yogurt platter, banana walnut pancakes, and some sandwiches. Heavenly. Very friendly staff too

Not sure how long they have been there but very happy I found them. Was my first time there, definitely won't be my last. Great prices! Nice little family owned lunchonette.

Best diner in the area as far as I'm concerned. It's absolutely delicious, very modestly priced, and the family who runs it/other people who work there are all a pleasure to be around. 10 yeehaws out of five.

Old school diner at its best. Excellent breakfast, popular in the morning with the trade guys. A true greasy spoon with super friendly waitresses, bar seating and formica countertops.
