I love this place! My braids are always sharp when I walk out and they don't judge my crazy colors. The women have always been nice and I enjoy my time there. Thanks ladies. :)

I would give it a 0 star but obviously that is not a choice. I am new to Bridgeport I dont know where to go. Back home I went to an African shop that included the hair so when I googled and went on their website and saw they also included the hair I was happy. I have uploaded a picture from their website that says they provide the hair. I called to make an appointment and asked for the price for kinky twists. She said 110. I also asked how much was it with the hair. She said 135. I made the appointment. When I got there the owner said they do not provide hair. So I had to leave to go buy my own hair. One of the ladies from the shop came with me. The owner also allowed her child to come with us. I was not expecting to carpool. Anyways once back at the shop it was cold. They had 2 space heaters that was going off every 2 mins so the shop would not stay warm. The owner son was running in and out the door leaving it open so it was freezing as it is December. The shop owner also had her baby daughter in the shop. So she kept stopping to feed the baby and run after her son. The lady doing my hair did not speak a lick of English and was moving way too slow. The shop owner and the lady that came with me to the hair store kept coming behind her telling her how to do my hair.I did not feel secure in what she was doing. The lady that came with me to the hair store got into a fight with a client. I mean physical fight. She was talking about her in their language and being very rude to her so the girl turned around and hit her and they fought. They both went outside to cool down and came back in for a round 2 while me and another client and 2 kids was there. NEVER AGAIN will I go back there. I went there at 9am that was my appointment time. I left at 4. I had to run back to the hair store a 2nd time because I ran out of hair. Mind you I had someone at the shop come with me and pick out the hair for me so that was their fault I ran out of hair.

This place is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL...They are expensive and running a scam...The scam is you go in to do your hair which the hair is "SUPPOSEDLY" included but when you get there they tell you they don't have hair and send you across the street to a beauty supply next to the SUBWAY...They do it to give her business and thats coming from the beauty supply owners mouth, but dont reduce their price if you purchase your own hair...Other customers come in and you see them go in the back for hair, im saying to myself damn you told me you didn't have hair....Secondly it's like a daycare in there they bring all their kids with playpens set up and babies walking up and down in their walkers...A hairstyle that takes 3 hours expect to stay for 7 hours or more, between attending to their babies, meal breaks and talking on their cell phones...

Im all for supporting black owned businesses but its nonsense like this that turns me off completely...Im from New York, new to the area and figure i'll try them. Never ever will i go back there...I will make that commute to the Bronx or Harlem to get that good quality braids for my monies worth...

I wish I read these comments before I spent $140 on these bullshit Ass braids,I'm tight AF..today makes 1 week since I got my hair done and a bunch of them fell out.I wanted some braids that would last me at least a month and these braids barely last two weeks.the middle was done so poorly ,they are so unperfesional and on top of that they ran out of #1b hair so they put #4 I had two people in my head so i thought the job would get done faster I'm tight AF !!😠 I'm tempted to go down there and demand my money back.I will never go back there and I will worn my friends and family about them as well!!!
