We had to say goodbye to our 50+ year old boiler and replace it with a new HE Gas unit. We collected quotes from several plumbers and decided on Steve Basso for two reasons:

The results have been outstanding. Replaced a rats nest of pipes ins old switches with an organized small footprint Utica HE unit. The Basso workers were clean, efficient and a pleasure to work with! Very happy customers🤗

We had an unidentified leak in a pipe outside the house that was causing excessive water bills. Jamie and the team from Steve Basso were extremely responsive to help identify the leak and service the problem in a very timely fashion. We have always found them to be very timely and professional in all of our dealings with them.

We had our 26 year old Burnham oil fired steam boiler replaced with a NG Burnham model. Steve was very knowledgeable about steam and his team installed the new one, and reconfigured some of the radiators promptly and efficiently. I can't speak highly enough of Steve and his team. We will definitely be using them again (in 26 years time!)

Their plumber Jamie did an amazing job repairing my mother's kitchen sink faucet and also the supply line. In addition he also cleared the blockage within the bath tub drain line. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed and all set. I also love the fact that he's very flexible with the pricing. Overall, me and mom (especially) is very satisfied. Worth every penny. Highly recommend this company. Most of all, I highly recommend Jamie the plumber.

I have used Steve Basso Plumbing & Heating several times since I moved to Stratford two years ago, and I highly recommend this company. They are responsive, friendly, timely and extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Used this firm for a few plumbing issues I had with kitchen sink, slop sink in laundry room and service valve at meter. The serviceman, Jaime: was super professional, works clean- you'd never know he was there when he left and best of all he addressed all the issues and I'm super happy with how things turned out. The appointments were on time, always got a text from Lauren in advance of service and I'll be sure to call them in future if any other needs arise. Very happy with the work they did for me.

Steve Basso's men came and cleared a clogged drain. Very nice and polite. We have used them before and will use them again should the need arise.

I’ve used Basso Plumbing & Heating for over 10 years for maintenance and plumbing. I was always impressed with how kind everyone was to us from the front office to everyone that visited the house. I recently took their recommendation to replace my water heater and boiler to a single efficient system. They showed up at 7:30 am and stayed past 9 pm to knock the cover off the ball. They completed a multiple system renovation in one day. We gained much more space and a system that is near silent but most importantly, we cut our costs from $250 to $35 a month. I truly thank them all for making a stressful situation easy and painless!

Our sink faucet stopped working even though the sprayer worked. We called Steve Basso and he had someone out quickly. He diagnosed the problem as being within the faucet itself and required replacement. I paid the service fee and they gave me a quote to install a new one. I bought a new faucet and they scheduled the service for the next day. The technician did an excellent job (proficient, neat, extra polishing) and he waived the service fee for this visit. Great service at a great price.

This company was amazing. I called them a day before and had a technician at my home the next day. Where as other places I contact denied me service or were to busy. The technician Jamie arrived on time pleasant,helpful,knowledgeable. Very hard worker. He knew exactly how to do his job. I’m very happy with him and his job performance was great. I will recommend this company to others. Over all if I need them in the future they are the ones I will call. Nina was great! We had a great experience with Basso Plumbing. We had them install a new furnace and AC unit. Price was very competitive and work was completed quickly. Victor and his crew spent a lot of time with our system. He explained everything they were doing in terms that I could understand. They went above and beyond not only installing the new units but correcting mistakes made during previous installations. I can’t tell you how happy we are that we chose to have work done by Basso Plumbing and HVAC.

Second time this year (2022) using plumbing service. 1st install outdoor water faucet. 2nd checking gas stove for leaks. Today was Joe D. and both service men were excellent. They will explain everything they are doing and why. They also give options for your issue. Very polite and friendly. Will be using them again.

We had Steve Basso's tech out to replace the faucet and piping in my daughter's bathroom sink. There was not a lot of room to work in the small bath but they did a great job and charged the exact amount of the estimate. My second experience with the company and I have been pleased on both occurrences. Hate to have to call a plumber but making this call is easier as I know the service and pricing will be great. The most professional and knowledgeable crew i have ever seen in action. From the first appointment with Steve Basso who came and measured everything and explained to me the whole job to the last day when they started my new Central A/C these guys were on point. They made sure everything was perfect when they left the job each day. They were all very nice to my children and they even let my son pretend like he was running the job. Found Steve Basso's services on the back of a previous positive Google review, so thought right to add one in (1st review I've done). Initially engaged Basso do do annual AC and Heating service, given poor service received (i.e. responsive and uninformed) from a large local provider (I live in Greenwich, CT) inherited from house purchase in 2020. Found Basso team to be informed, polite, clean, responsive and puncital. Then engaged them in 2022 to quote for replacing 30 year HVAC and boiler unit. Found quote to be competitive and what we asked for - options A, B and C. Only one of 4 quotes we did not have to chase down, and structured as asked. Removal and install took 2 weeks. Team delivered on time and on budget. Clean and respectful also. Would recommend Steve Basso and his team in a heartbeat. Gio

Steve Basso provided excellent service when our HVAC died this summer. His "Gold Medal" installation team was professional, trustworthy and efficient. On installation day they worked diligently to get our system up and running so we could receive relief from the high temperatures and humidity.
This is our second major project, as our water heater died during the winter and they were professional and swift in getting us the hot water needed within 24 hours.

Excellent service. Steve Basso, the owner called me back within 30 minutes. Ricky, the technician, was at my house by 9:30am to fix the Air Conditioning. He got it up and running in less than 30 minutes with on surprises on the final cost. Also, Ricky was very respectful of my home--didn't track unnecessarily through it. Will always use Steve Basso.
