Full disclosure: I am Ron and Jody Morneault's daughter. That said, I couldn't be more proud of my parents' hard work, perseverance, and talent for making people feel and look their best. They offer incomparable personal service and have maintained an unbroken chain of retail presence since I was 5 years old, originally with Tuesday's and now with Stackpole's, originally established in 1909. Their care and dedication is reflected in their window trimming, hosting artists and their artwork, social events, and continuing to bring the height of fashion to Trumbull and Pratt Streets in Hartford, Connecticut. This is my go to place for buying clothes. Jody and Ron are always ready to offer exceptional and personalized assistance. The store offers unique and high quality women’s clothing for all occasions. The sale rack is a gem of possibilities, if you are on a limited budget. I always feel welcomed, comfortable and appreciated when shopping or even browsing. And, Jody and Ron are two people with huge, generous hearts, who are committed to helping Hartford, small businesses and people in need.

A six hour drive and well worth it. Living just outside Washington DC I suspect we could find other good specialty stores on our way to central CT, but none would compare to Morneault's Stackpole Moore Tryon! Jody, Ron and Mary are delightful to work with. They each have a keen and honest sense of what looks good and what does not. I have been shopping at Stackpole Moore Tryon (Morneault's) for literally decades. I've moved up and down the East Coast but always find an excuse to return to this amazing store for a fashion up-lift. The range of attire offered includes smart casual to elegant to executive business - and the selection is always fantastic. My favorite all-time store with beautiful people and beautiful clothes.

Nice place and nice people. Found a deal. $200 for $800 sport coat. Left happy.

This is a nice clothing store. I was there for the art show but I looked at some clothing and it's very nice quality garments. Interesting history too. The art is fantastic.

My husband visited Jody at Stackpole for a tux for my daughter's wedding. More expensive than we thought so Jody spruced up his black suit with cuff links and a nice shirt. She spoiled us. Maria also tailored my dress perfectly.

I was referred to Jody and Ron when I was looking for a suit for my wedding. They spent an afternoon with me locating an ideal fabric and then calling to verify its availability. They streamlined the process and attended to every detail from fabric color to type to measure and fit. My wedding guests all commented on the suit, its fit, color, and style. I am now spoiled for other suit makers and will return to Jody and Ron for the family atmosphere and the top notch service and style. Thank you Morneault's for taking time for me.

What a gem of a place! Very few places like this are still around where you get personalized service at reasonable prices. Jodi, one of the owners knew exactly what I had in mind for an upcoming wedding. She put an awesome outfit for me on a short notice…. And she saved me a quite a bit too! Highly recommend this place, and definitely coming back!

I've bought many pieces of clothing here over the years, all hand picked by the owners. Everything I have bought is very high quality and I'm still wearing today. I highly recommend this store for the unique merchandise and excellent customer service.

This is a local family business that not only carries beautiful clothes, but demonstrates absolutely top notch customer service. The owners are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. I’m glad that I stopped in, and can’t wait to come back for more!

Went here a few weeks ago when they were having their sale. Wanted to check out pricing on getting a custom suit made. I was helped by....Chris? ( I accidentally washed my wallet and his business card got destroyed) and he was very patient, and professional in answering all of my questions. I will definitely be back to get my suit made.

I was in town for a wedding and the service that I received here was far and beyond what we have in DC. I needed an emergency quick fix for my tux which they were able to accommodate within just a few minutes. Not only that, but there was plenty of pie, fruit, and coffee for me to eat in the meantime. The salespeople and owner were extremely welcoming and their attention to detail and customer service is something that most stores lack now.

I wish we had a place like this in DC and will definitely be stopping in the next time I'm in Hartford.

Jody helped my boyfriend pick out the nicest Christmas presents for me. They were wrapped beautifully by Jody and looked so perfect under the tree, I almost didn't want to unwrap them. Morneault's made Christmas extra special this year and the sweaters fit perfectly!
