Delizioso Brick Oven Pizza

I’m a huge fan of New Haven style pizza and living in Stratford I would prefer not to go all the way to New Haven for a good pie. Delizioso’s did not dissapoint! Perfectly cooked well done pies! 🍕

Had a wonderful experience, with great service and pizza. The results for my specific, albeit unusual request of presentation with a specific slice of pizza. They pulled through with shining colors. Highly recommend anyone dine here.

First time getting food from them tonight. I am blown away at how good the food is. I ordered the pineapple pork nachos which have an amazing kick to them and the harvest salad. Not only was the food delicious, and reasonably priced the portions are very big. I will definitely be ordering from them again and I will be recommending this place to others. The customer service was also very friendly. 😄

Best pizza anywhere close to Stratford. Family owned and run business. They 1000% care about their product and customers. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re late to the party.

Brick oven pizza was good. Good enough char on the bread/crust. Buffalo wrap was incredible, a bit too spicy but still great. Chicken parm wedge was amazing. Wings were okay but everything else was on point.

Update:
They have a lomo pizza and it is insaaaane. The sauce is a bit watery than I’m used to but it’s okay.

Pizza is good! Delivery was fast, they use Slices which is nice if you want to order online and no one gets ripped off by Uber eats.

I needed a new delivery pizza spot since Franco's closed and I think this is the one.

My wife and I eat here often and we both love the food. The consistency visit to visit is excellent. Fresh ingredients, quality cheeses, and a good menus. It is a BYOB restaurant with a liquor store right next to it. The best part though is the owner Mo. He makes every guest feel like family. I can't recommend it enough.

You can tell they are still finding their footing as a newer restaurant, but the food was incredible. The pizza was delicious, the brussel sprout appetizer was incredible, and the fried donut dessert was truly great.

The only real criticism I have is they are trying to do too much with all the different foods, but they're 3 for 3 on what I have so what do I know.

We are traveling from Pennsylvania and stopped in for an early dinner last night. I really wanted a good brick oven pizza and decided to give Delizioso's a try

The woman at the cash register quickly welcomed us and gave us great service throughout our meal. She even brought us a really good caprese salad as an appetizer, and said it was on the house. That was a nice touch.

My wife ordered a chicken dish, my daughter got a quesadilla and I got a small pizza. Our food arrived and the pizza looked really good. It was thin crust and loaded with pepperoni. I took a bite and discovered that it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had - as good or better than ones I've had in italy. My wife and daughter's meals were excellent too. The portions were generous for a reasonable price. We couldn't finish our meals so we took the leftovers to our hotel - something we never do when we're traveling. We will be back if we ever come to this part of Connecticut again.

Ordered dinner here tonight. Unfortunately, when I got home, I received the wrong order. However, we were still pleased with the food. It was like a little surprise. As we were eating our meal, someone pulled up to our house. The owner of the restaurant knocked on our door. He brought us our the food that I originally ordered. He was so very nice and apologetic. Customer service at its finest. He really didn’t have to do that. I appreciated it so much. I highly recommend Delizioso. This is what I love about local establishments. Please support!!!!

ordered from there for the first time under new ownership last night.Previous owners where in fact really good, I just had a way better option at Pappas and Pappas 2, . The new owners have a different recipe and I will say it is FANTASTIC. IMO. Pizza is subjective, i would not criticize anyone who thinks Dominoes is their fave. It's personal.That being said, having lived around here my entire lifetime, 15 years in New Haven,New Haven style pizza(APIZZA you know where I am going)is my personal favorite style. I will say that this place is one of my new top 10 . not to mention how close they are to my home.FANTASTIC FANTASTIC UNIQUE PIZZA.KEEP IT UP, THE WORD WILL GET AROUND, you will be very successful .

I ordered two pizzas last night and because it was so busy they ended up coming cold. I called to tell them and they sent two fresh hot pizzas over to me immediately and a piece of cake. It was delicious and I enjoyed my dinner and their service.

Me and my sister get the tacos all the time the staff is super friendly the food is so good. my sister is a picky eater and she loves these tacos. I highly suggest to anyone looking for a nice quick place to eat that’s affordable. I never write reviews but I had to write one for this place.

Under new management and they are wonderful!! Every dish we tried was so delicious! You can bring your own bottle of wine. Come and try this new owner chef, you won’t be disappointed!!

Absolutely delicious! We had the salad with Italian dressing, wings, pizza and the “to-die-for” garlic knots. The pizza definitely Is the best in town! Love the thin crispy crust and yummy sauce. A great place to sit outside and enjoy wonderful food, excellent service! We will be back ... and will have to try one of their dinners next (the customers next to us raved about their dinners). Definitely a 5 star experience!

Delicious pizza! You can tell they put care and love into every pizza, as they all come out amazing. Price is more expensive than your standard take out pizza but the difference in quality of ingredients and workmanship is worth every penny. Can't recommend these guys enough, very friendly when picking up pizza.

By far 10/10 for pizza along the coastal cities of CT. 10/10 for pizza ratio of sauce to cheese to dough. 10/10 best cold pizza for leftovers and excellent marinara sauce for garlic knots! Will definitely be ordering here again and I recommend you to do the same if you really love pizza!

BEST PIZZA IN THE AREA!!! Could easily contend with Pepe's Pizza. They know how to make a great pie! I don't go anywere else when I have my way! LOL
