I have to share that Joe's Diner is under New Management black owned so please show them some love and support..
Now let's get into it. Been in Bridgeport all my life and never ate here..Silly me. The service was amazing. It's real cute. I hope I have her name right😊 Tianna is a wonderful waitress /hostess very friendly. James an excellent cook. The music was off the hook. I was singing and dancing in my seat while eating my food. Mary J flowing was out the speakers. Definitely will be back to have the Loaded Homefries they come highly recommended...Go check it out..Good eats and good vibes..The prices are reasonable.

Tried this place for the first time and it was absolutely awesome
My breakfast was prepared perfectly and was delicious and the service was great
All the staff was friendly including the owner

The kindest people work here. I walked in at 1:25 not knowing when they closed and they still served me. Super nice people.

Food: another classic no bullshit experience. Just good food and good service. It is a no frills burger but it's a good burger. Everything you would expect from a dinner experience.

This place is still amazing. We come here from Queens around this time every year and we look forward to breakfast at Joe’s. Everything is made fresh to order and the staff are so nice. What a gem. Thank you guys!

My husband and I had breakfast here for the first time last week and I wish we stumbled upon it sooner! The staff is SO friendly and even though they were slammed with orders, they handled it very well. I had the grit bowl and it was amazing. I could eat it every day and not get tired of it. If you’re looking for a charming place to get some delicious food, this is it.

The owner and waitress were friendly and awesome.
The menu selections were delicious and the portions were amazing.

Everything was on point from start to finish! I called prior to arriving to inquire about them serving turkey products. The young lady was very nice & that was the contributing factor for me going there! I started off with coffee & water with lemon….the waitress was very attentive & immediately took my order! I ordered a vegetable omelette, turkey bacon, home fries & wheat toast! The chef asked if I wanted spinach as well since that wasn’t a vegetable on the menu! Kudos to him….The entire meal was absolutely delicious! Not one single complaint! If I am ever in town again, I will definitely go back AGAIN……

Had to pick up parts ind Stratford and came across this place..Old school diner look so I figured I'd give it a shot..Awesome perfectly cooked breakfast. People were great..Anytime I come down this way it's my new go to breakfast spot..

This was a true old school southern kitchen!! You're family as soon as you walk in. The food was simple but AMAZING!!! Great prices and good service. If you want a home cooked meal this is your place!

Joe's is awesome! The delicious food was only surpassed by the quality of the friendly staff. Next time we are in CT, we will eat at Joe's.

Passing through and stopped here for Lunch.. Happy we did. Food & service for great. Our waitress Charlene was nice & courteous.

So if you're in the area or just passing through, try the food here. It's really good. Thumbs up to the Chef.

Haven’t even gotten our food yet and I just had to say in they’re accommodating and friendly. Super old school low key vibe. 10/10 recommend

My food was served while The O’jays was playing and I finished it then Sam Cooke came on. (Food was solid!)
It’s so refreshing hearing something other than pop music or listening/seeing a blaring TV on with bs politics. These dudes are doing it right

Stopped in while passing through.. excellent food in a cute little spot! We had chicken and waffles, steak and cheese omelette and everything was fresh and tasted great!

Nice dinner makes you feel at home.ps The food is good .

The food came in such horrible condition. Everything was burnt, undercooked, eggs were made incorrectly, and was missing an item order. I wish I could show how terrible the food was and looked.

We are visiting the area and they had the audacity to bring this to our door.

However, the owner took the time to work with us and came to visit us with a new replenished order that represents their true values. Thank you for your time and effort!

A friend recommended this sweet ,retro diner when I had to be at a service station in the area.The grits were delicious as was my avocado toast with tomato and perfectly cooked egg over easy. Coffee was hot and fresh. Although I live a considerable distance away I will be back when I am ever in the area.

I wish I'd tried this diner sooner! Char was a wonderful waitress & the food was amazing. I especially liked the homemade corned beef hash. Will definitely be returning soon.

I mean this was supposed to be a pic of a double bacon burger but that thing went down could have been 15 minute ago I ordered. But I love it
