Live band is so good! The food is great, and the atmosphere is chill and friendly. A mixed crowd that just likes to have a good time no judgement no prejudice. The owner is super friendly and takes his time to greet the guest and make sure they are taken care of. A most visit!

The live music was a little loud/rowdy, and we didn't know the songs. The food was fantastic however and our waitress was lovely. It was VERY busy but we didn't feel ignored!

We had food experience, everything is made in house. The staff is excellent and we got to meet the chef and the owner's son. My wife and I travel quite a lot in America and Europe especially Austria and we have to say this is a hidden Gem. Everything we had was above and beyond. Thank you everyone at Carmine's for an excellent meal and good time.

Food is always on point chicken wings is Fire I reccomend the Garlic Parmesan wings with the house ranch sauce...yes I know everybody loves blue cheese but trust house ranch is the way to go you need to try it...this is a quick updated review and I will still give this place 5 stars because I come here faithfully and there food is always amazing but today "Tuesday October 24th 2023" the chef burnt everything Im not sure if they deep fry their tenders but if they do they need to change their oil...the tenders have a burnt taste to it or if it was pan fried its overcooked and burnt...I called and they said they can re-cook it for me and get a replacement but I live 20 mins away...so a 20 min drive their and back is 40 mins and that's basically an hour of time when I am already home after work and just want to chill and relax...they said they would refund me this is the third time this happened but I still will always have faith in you guys

Our first visit and beyond pleased. Food is delicious. Great service too. Carmine is a sweet Social Butterfly; definitely returning.

It’s fun. And worth it. Fresh pasta and love music. And super friendly service. I had the rigatoni with shrimp and sausage. Really good. I mean, on this night the music wasn’t my style but it was still appreciated.

A group of retirees from East Hartford enjoyed an excellent luncheon at a friendly lively place called Carmine’s today.
Owners Carmine and Holly Pellegrino have used their talents to create a cute neighborhood eatery with a few extra benefits for their patrons.
In addition to the usual menu of wings,Italian dishes and many entrees they offer friendly service with invitations to join them for happy hour and their different jam sessions with various local bands on the weekends.
This diner has a cheerful atmosphere and a welcome to come and join them. You won’t be disappointed!

Great happy hour, attractive place. Food is solid as well...homemade pastas made daily, etc.

UPDATE: We visit weekly, and enjoy their standout happy hour. I've since tried their chicken marsala and sausage broccoli rabe with parpadelle. Both among the best I've had, with the restaurant-made parpadelle making it even better. Always great service with a smile at the bar as well!

Dinner was delicious. Gluten free salmon for me, cooked just right, fresh mashed potatoes, veggies still with a nice crunch in them. Excellent house wine at a very good price. Lindsay was my thoughtful and friendly waitress. A relaxed and enjoyable evening was had.

Had an amazing dinner here tonight with my Husband and Father after seeing them on the news. Liz was our server and she was fabulous. We had a flat bread with mushrooms and sausage that was very tasty. For dinner my Dad and I had the Chicken Marsala and my Husbad had the Eggplant and Chicken Parm with Fettuccine. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back. Holly the owner came over and introduced herself. Very nice family run establishment!

I might be biased because I'm a personal friend of Carmine, but let me tell you. The music is top notch, even the people who come in for open mic night are extremely talented. Come down and give it a go, you'll be very grateful

No complaints, and live music. Something really nice here, I enjoyed my time.

Bar tenders are prompt and lovely, food is tasty and live music.
I must add that the music at Carmines is one of the best sounding places I've seen. The music isn't trying to blow your ears out, like so many other bars with guest performances.

After being reached out to have my food remade I have to say this is probably the best Alfredo that I’ve had in a LONG time. Pasta was cooked perfectly, sauce was nice and creamy not overwhelming and seasoned very nicely. Definitely will be coming back and I highly recommend. You can tell that the owners take pride in their food and maintaining a great relationship with customers!

Great place to eat and listen to live music.

I stopped in for happy hour on a Friday night which happened to be on Cinco de Mayo. And because of that the bar wasn't too busy since I was at an Italian restaurant. You can tell the patrons are regulars and they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Despite being in the bar I still got to try their food which included chicken wings (which were perfect), raviolis, a mushroom flatbread (which is the size of a regular pizza), truffle fries, and a Mexican dip from their Cinco De Mayo Special. All of it was tasty but the truffle fries were the winner for me. When I'm back in town I could totally see myself stopping by for a drink.

I will say, they have a band that plays, which was cool, but you do find yourself yelling to speak to others there so just keep that in mind.

Me and my family went to this restaurant a few days ago. I have not been able to stop raving about it! The food is AMAZING! Our waitress Elizabeth was absolutely phenomenal. She's definitely my favorite waitress I've ever had. She made the experience even better and it was already great! Highly, highly recommend. You won't regret trying it!
