Natural Roots Hair Salon

Was looking for a hair salon too get my hair done and came across Natural Roots Hair Salon. I was beyond comfortable and happy to get my hair done here. The atmosphere is amazing where I felt at home. Veronica did a good job doing my hair and can’t wait to go back. This is defintly my new home to get my hair done. I recommend anyone to go because you will feel welcomed and not disappointed! Thank you again Veronica for my 2 braids!

I gave up on finding a good spot to get my locks worked on in Connecticut. I would drive into Brooklyn on a regular basis. And now I don't have to because Shameka got me right. She was very gentle and thats something that I like. Very professional and the shop has such a good vibe. She did such a good job on my hair I cut my hair just so I can have Shameka start me all over and my hair was pass my shoulders so if you have locks you know what a big deal that is. So yeah this is my spot.

My first time with a professional hairstylist since returning to chemical free hair 6 years ago. Adrienne is professional, competent gentle on my natural hair. Explained each step and asked permission for what she was doing. Fantastic results. I will be going back. Also reasonably priced.

I went in for a last minute decision haircut and called a few different salon to get it done but no one else was able to take me. I called and Adrian said she can take me and she did a great job I also purchase some of Vs's body butter and soap which was amazing definitely going back for a trim and more soap

Mrs. Vee did my big chop for me after I damaged my natural hair with a ton of heat and it was a pretty vulnerable moment for me. After our consultation she took her time and explained step by step what she was going to do and checked in with me the entire time. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she styled my hair, and made sure I understood the maintenance that would be required to uphold the style. And well, it’s safe to say I left a happy very young lady. Close to 2 months later after it had grown out some I came back to get another cut and she was just as helpful as the first time. VERY warm and friendly environment, really knowledgeable and while it may get a little pricey you know that you are for sure getting what you pay for. I would recommend to ANY naturals or otherwise in the area. She’s such a comforting and kind woman, and so is her staff. Highly recommend this salon. Do yourself a favor and come here.

I had been looking for a salon to get my locs styled for a special occasion and came across Natural Roots. From start to finish the experience was pleasant and professional. Veronica made my feel at home with her warm and inviting nature. I was also very pleased with her knowledge on locs and learned a lot about my own hair just from this first visit. I highly recommend this salon!

Mrs. Vee was amazing! She was very informative about the health of my hair, and used amazing hair products (that smell soooo good)! I highly recommend her services. The salon is very clean as well!
