Parkade Laundromat

I had a TON of laundry to do and chose this laundromat based on the positive Google reviews. I am so glad I did! Sal is the owner, and he was so kind, helpful and courteous, not just to me but to ALL of his patrons (I chatted with several of them - it's a nice community in there). He showed me how to purchase a card - you need $4 in singles - and then to load value onto it. You must have cash but can add value with $5, 10, and 20 bills. You also get an extra $1 if you add $20 at a time. Sal showed me the different size washers and walked me through the process for each type of load I was needed to wash and then dry. Everything in the facility is very clean, and an attendant was sweeping the floor and wiping down the machines throughout my time there. This does not look like a typical laundromat! There are several comfy sitting areas with couches and coffee tables, so it's like you're in a living room. I was dreading having to wash so many loads of really dirty laundry, but this turned out to be so much nicer than any prior laundromat experience. I HIGHLY recommend taking your laundry to the Parkade Laundromat and when you do, chat with Sal and maybe even the other patrons. Kindness spreads kindness!

First time here doing laundry at this facility. Upon arrival, attendant Mike walked me through the process, helping purchase a card and load the card to use in the machines, he also pointed out the best washers to use, which was much appreciated. All the washers and dryers were in good working condition, the place was clean, and there was plenty of space to sit and relax. I felt very safe, even though it was late at night. Mike was very helpful and nice. Best of all my clothes came out perfectly clean. Would definitely recommend this laundromat to anyone that resides in the area.

First time customer, looking to have my clothes, washed and folded. As I entered the laundromat, I was overwhelmed how clean, welcoming, and such a safe environment it had. TV’s, couches, tables, and a reading library, gave this business a pub/neighborhood environment. The owner is so welcoming and the prices are cheap. It’s a must visit, even just to hang out.

My first time ever in this place and I can honestly say it feels like doing laundry in your own home. There's so many different machine sizes to choose from. The hospitality from the owner is so warming he makes you want to come back and do laundry again. They keep the establishment very neat and clean there's couches for you to sit on while you wait for your clothes to get done. He even has reading materials, TV For Your Entertainment, vending machines and much more. This is the best laundromat I've been to so far. The price for the machine are very reasonable, and they even do drop-off wash and fold and you pick up next day and they're open 24/7 you can't get no better than that... what an awesome establishment.

10/5 if I could. Sal is amazing. Wonderful man, very accommodating, polite and all around joy to have running this place. Laundromats can be very annoying and frustrating, but he makes the experience simple, fast, efficient, and comfortable if you cannot wait outside in a car during the winter times. Extremely clean and kept up, modern. Also, they are always open and never complain when they get customers. Always welcomed, and will continue to come here until I move.

I went here today with my mom because I can't leave her alone and needed a nice clean place to wash our clothes 😌. Anyway, I remembered about this laundry from a visit a few months ago.

So today we went there and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Sal and Michael were extremely pleasant and helpful and Sal tried his best to make mom comfortable. Mom sat on the comfortable couch and watched tv while I did our laundry. Sal talked about the upgrades he had made and future plans. Michael provided hands on instructions on their machines and offered best usage options.

Their laundry is very clean and it was a pleasure meeting the laundry family. The customers were friendly and people were on a first name basis. I plan on continuing to use their laundry. This is a clean and friendly laundromat to make a chore better. I wish all business operated like this one. It is clear the owner cares about his business and will likely do well in Manchester by continuing to care ❤ about his customers. Good experience for a necessary chore. Now have to go and put up my very clean clothes. 🤪😏😁

First time here doing laundry for my daughter who attends UConn, the washer/dryer in the dorms suck. Upon arrival, owner and worker, I think his name is Mike set me up since it was my first time. Total cost for 2 loads, dark and white was $12. Machines all in working condition, place was clean, plenty of space to sit and relax. Went on a Saturday late afternoon and it was not busy. I was in and out in a little over an hour . Felt very safe and owner was very nice. Definitely recommend to anyone that lives near by.

Absolutely the best, cleanest laundromat we have ever been to! Very helpful owner is present most of the time during the day. A pleasure to do a mundane chore!

Pretty sure it was the owner we interacted it during our visit here, but he was very kind and sooo helpful! We were fresh from moving from FL & staying in an Air BnB nearby, so this was my first time at this laundromat. I had never been to a laundromat that uses a card system, and we were moving to Enfield so didn’t really plan on staying in this area, but the owner was soo helpful the entire time we were there. You can tell all the machines are very well kept and very clean, as well as the seating areas, and I loved that the seating areas were super comfortable. All of the laundromats in FL have those awful plastic chairs that cause terrible back pain…not here though!! The couches were sooo comfy, and honestly I was shocked at how fast our laundry got done because I had got super comfy expecting to spend hours at the laundromat. This is the best laundromat I’ve ever been to. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Normally when I see a card only I find another Laundromat, because I'm traveling for work not sticking around. The gentleman running the place was really cool and helped me out, I'm grateful.
Definitely saved me some extra miles.

Let's face it, a laundromat isn't the most thrilling destination or a business which rouses excitement -- it's a place to wash your dirty clothes. But Parkade is bright, clean, comfortable, and most of the machines are working most of the time. The staff are welcoming, helpful, very friendly, and professional. Sal, the older Italian guy who's always there, will instantly become your best buddy and talk your ear off. I have a washer and dryer at home for doing the routine stuff, but I bring my big stuff like bedding and towels, and really stinky stuff like my dog's blankets, because the industrial machines just get things cleaner quicker. I've never been disappointed with either the results, the experience here, the prices, or the setting. If ya gotta do laundry in a laundromat, this is about the nicest place you'll find in the greater Manchester area.

Love this laundromat! By far the best one I’ve ever been to and most places I move to don’t have a washer and dryer hookup so I have been to a lot of laundromats. This place is very clean the owner is also very nice def recommend going here and Have recommend many friends to come here.

Sal is definitely a great man. He makes sure all his costumers are treated like family & makes everyone feel welcomed. The machines are great pricing as well & there are many different sizings. The laundry mat can be a hassle but here it’s like at home. Love it !

This is the absolute best place to do laundry. We have done the wash and fold service, and self service. The owner is absolutely amazing and cares about the customers. The place is very clean and welcoming. Very clean laundry every time, the wash and fold service is excellent. We are here in Connecticut for work for about six months and don’t currently have access to a good washer and dryer. This place has been a live saver.

I brought a bunch of comforters here right before the holidays. I can't wash them at home because they are too big for my washer and dryer.

Sal did an amazing job with the wash and fold service. He got them done in record time - approx 24 hours! He put the comforters in individual bags so they would stay nice and fresh when transporting them home.

While we do have a washer and dryer at home, I have one comforter that I absolutely love using. It needed to be washed and I wasn't feeling like having to rush through the one I would usually go to since it doesn't fit in our washer. As such, I wound up trying this one for the first time. Sal, the owner, was super nice. He even went above and beyond when I didn't have enough singles to purchase a card for the machines there and placed my money on his card to help me out. He is a genuinely nice guy and I will be going to his laundromat when I need to wash that comforter again instead of where I used to go.

This laundromat is by far the best laundromat I have ever used. It is extremely clean, the washers and dryers all work, there is air conditioning in the summer and Sal, the extremely affable owner, is there all day 7 days a week to make sure everything goes well. He has made many improvements to the place and has created a homey and welcoming atmosphere. I always look forward to our chats over a cup of coffee while I do the wash. Doing laundry isn’t a dreaded chore now - it’s a most pleasant one!

My first time in a laundromat in 20 years. The Parkade Laundromat experience was phenomenal! It was very tidy, comfortable and cozy. Sal provided amazing customer service. He was incredibly attentive, gave me tips to make my laundry experience easier, and properly estimated how much time and money it'll take to dry my loads. Three huge loads and laundry done in an hour and six minutes. Job well done!

First time coming here, very clean and homey feeling. Sal was amazing to me and we even had coffee and talked the whole time. He didn’t have any cards left so he let me use his just gave him the money. Good guy and would definitely recommend coming here. Machines are good and clean. I’ll definitely be coming back here for my laundry.
