The J House Greenwich

My partner and I took a quick weekend away in Greenwich for the easy access to NYC and chose this boutique hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted with pure hospitality, friendly faces and bubbles Coming from the hotel business we can be particular, and we knew instantly we were in the right place. Attention to detail throughout the room and property for cleanliness was immaculate. The Spa was amazing, it's clear they have very skilled professionals there as well as the restaurant. Joe, our server at Tony's was knowledgable, attentive and provided us with some good banter. I can't say enough great things about our entire 3 night stay here. We will be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience start to finish. Thank you!

Stayed overnight at the J House Greenwich for a spontaneous girl’s trip. Wonderful experience from the start. Valet parking, complimentary Prosecco at check-in, courteous staff all around, and rooms were clean. The bathroom had heated toilets with bidet and a TV. The room also featured blackout curtains and comfortable beds. They have an in house spa, fitness center, bar, & restaurant. The staff and rooms 10/10. I would stay here again.

We decorated a room here for a Girlfriend Proposal this past weekend. The property looks well kept, valet parking was available onsite, and the room was clean and very modern. There is a restaurant on property and more options just a few minutes away. We went to a cute ice cream shop nearby. Overall, we would recommend The J House Greenwich.

High-tech luxury rooms that included:

Electronic blackout blinds, TV set within mirrors (both in the main room and the bathroom), runner lights for the bed, room privacy indicator lights for the hallway instead of the doorknob hanger.

The restaurant within the hotel (Tony's) was fantastic! Great food and drinks, and the impromptu trivia by the legend himself (Tony) was fantastic!

Haven't even checked out yet but wanted to leave this review. This place is a find. We had some business in Stamford but didn't want to stay in town so tried here. The hotel is beautiful. Apparently there is really no limit to how nice you can make an old Howard Johnsons. The rooms are super comfortable, especially the beds. I had a room closest to the highway so I could hear some traffic but it isn't bad at all. The high-tech stuff in the rooms was actually nice and not complicated. I was worried that this place might be trying a little too hard from reading reviews but that isn't the case at all. And what I didn't expect was for Tony's to be such a great restaurant. This is legit good Italian food and the outdoor terrace is a great garden setting. We got back from work late last night and the kitchen had closed but Tony himself (great guy) went back to the kitchen and pulled a few things together for us. Overall great experience here.

I recently stayed at the JHouse and it was awesome! The service was exceptional - all the staff were friendly and accommodating. Room service was YUM! Everything from breakfast to dinner was top notch! LOVE. Definitely the place to stay.

Just extraordinary design and space. Came to meet a friend and it was so fun picking a spot to chat. Can’t wait to go back and even do an event.

We went for a mother-daughter weekend and had a fantastic time. The hotel is so nice - there’s a really modern vibe to the place and the technology aspect is excellent. The room was so nicely decorated and clean. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was just perfect. Really happy with the place and we will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful experience at Jhouse! Stayed in The Ambassador suite and was quite impressed with the spacious balcony, beautiful dining room and high tech bathrooms! Overall a beautiful suite!
Check in was very fast and we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco. I want to especially thank Abraham at the front desk, for being SO KIND and helping me throughout my stay. Whether it was answering my questions, helping me up with my bags, bringing ice to my room, helping me with fireplace and etc. Abraham truly went above and beyond to make my stay at Jhouse AMAZING!

I've stayed twice now at the J House. It was recommended to me by a large business in the area as the best hotel in town. And what a terrific place to stay!

The hotel itself is beautiful with spacious (and very high tech!) rooms. The restaurant, Tony's, is chic with outstanding food. I couldn't get enough of the sushi! It was clear to me that it's a local favorite as well.

What really makes the place special though is the staff. To say that they go out of their way for you is a serious understatement. Such genuinely kind people! I'm not the only one that feels this way. As I was out and about in town over my last 5 night stay, I ran into others that had their own stories of the "incredible J House staff".

I feel like I have a second home in Greenwich now and look forward to staying at the J House again and again.

My home away from home. All the staff is top nothch from Janice, the GM, John, Robert, Peter, Danielle (Spa) and Sara in the Garden Patio.

The Lobster cocktail, Oysters & Zucchini Flowers are delicious. But one of the tall male waiters is a bit moody & did not impress me at all during my recent stay.

I decided to stay here for Father’s Day! A surprise for my husband. What can I say… this hotel was absolutely beautiful. The room is outstanding. Tony’s restaurant is beautiful. The spa was incredible. My husband and daughter had a very nice time and you better believe I will be back!! Highly impressed!!!

I am a 51 year old Lady living between London and Miami Beach and my Mother sadly died Feb 2022 leaving me with the honor of caring for my 90 year old Korean War Combat Veteran Father with a Purple Heart who is now at the VA home in Montrose, New York.

Every month, I travel from England or Miami Beach to collect my Dad and bring him for a special luxurios long weekend in the New York Metropolitan area. It has been a genius idea and action to be honest!

Imagine packing up a 90 year old, packing for two people, praying the staff at the Hotel venue are open, flexible, warm, caring, charming, accomodating, professional, lovely, anticipate ALL needs, entertaining, fun, helpful, energetic and most importantly, compassionate and TALENTED.

The J House Greenwich is BEYOND a 100% incredible hotel, restaurant and reasonable destination in Greenwich, Connecticut. The location is perfect and relaxing and the hotel is accessible easily from White Plains (HPN), LaGuardio (LGA) and for anyone travelling by car or train.

The Experience:
Have you tried Tony's Restaurant at J House? Guess what? If you do, you WILL NOT leave the Hotel as there is no point. My Dad and I had lunch on the Friday knowing we would have dinner that night and Saturday night as its easier for my Dad to stay on premise. THE FOOD AND SERVICE AND ENVIRONMENT ARE AMAZING! It is almost unreal how terrific everything is done. And a major effort by the cooking staff as they have gorgeous Italian food and also, an incredible and very sexy Japenese fusion menu. It was and is amazing! (I seriously cannot wait to be back.)
Notable peple in the dining room for us are Joe and Coco, stunning service.

The pool: There is a stunning pool, you literally can feel like you're anywhere in the world. It was relaxing CLEAN and quite and no bugs.
Notable people are Vinny serving up drinks and my adorable friend who is going to grad school for public health in August!

The behind the scenes staff (who jump across hoops to help and support no matter what) are unforgettable.
Notable and most cherished is: Juan Garcia. Juan is an Engineer in the building and loves trouble shooting and solving problems. He is also a tier one A PLUS communicator and represents the brand of J House. I am happy to call him a Brand Ambassador as well as he could not do enough to make me and my Dad feel comfortable. J House is lucky to have him. What a terrific person and professional.

Our family friends and Cousins spent meals with my Dad and I and had a blast!

We are already planning a longer stay in September and plan to visit monthly as this is the best place for family, friends, feeling AMAZING, feeling elegegant and cool and feeling like what you pay for is more than 10x+. OUTSTANDING!

I stayed here for business and was really impressed with the rooms! Other than the room next door blaring their tv all night then them turning around and complaining about noise from my room when I FaceTimed my children for ten minutes, it was a delightful stay. I’ll definitely stay again, hopefully without the hypocrite next door neighbors :)

Had an amazing stay. My sister arranged a special weekend with friends to celebrate my upcoming wedding. Enjoyed a day by the pool with reserved cabana and had a delicious dinner at Tony's. Highly recommend.

Okay we have to talk about the tech toilets! Just too much fun. We had a family party everyone stated here. It was the entertainment conversation. All amenities outstanding in this hip revitalized hotel. Tony's bar restaurant is a must. Continental breakfast included and very nice. Cozy eating area.
