Olympic Pizza Restaurant

I was craving a cutlet grinder- saw this restaurant while driving and ordered take out. Delicious! Bread and chicken cooked perfectly. You would think this dish couldn’t be messed up but it is at a lot of places. I’ll def be back! Plus this “half grinder” was huge and under $10 ☺

I’ve recently had the chance to revisit a childhood staple, and I’m happy to say that the pizza hasn’t changed in over 20 years. Fluffy crust, seasoned sauce, and gooey cheese peppered with tiny crunchy burnt bits.

Is this the high-brow, experimental, 900°F brick oven, Neapolitan style pizza spot you bring to impress your out-of-town friends? Maybe not…

BUT is this pizza, in ways both culinary and nostalgically, the closest real world approximation to the slices from 1995’s ‘A Goofy Movie’? You bet it is, and it always has been.

My go-to pizza place! Local to me, very polite staff who remember my face and make me feel very welcome. Food is always great, and I can't be happier with how affordable it is! Highly recommend to anyone who has not dined with them to try it, you will not be disappointed

Wife and I had dinners here many Friday nights for date night over the last twenty years! Always great food! Since Covid they have take-out, the food is always great! Some of my favorites, Mediterranean Pizza, Lasagna, Gyro, Steak & Cheese Grinder, Meatball Grinder. A great family business. We love them!

I’ve traveled near and far to find the perfect grinder X as far west as CA and as far south as the Mississippi, little did I know the next town had a little geek pizza place that harbored the best. Fresh ingredients and value on the dollar are taken away from Olympic pizza . The meatball grinder is my go to although their pizza and other sandwiches/grinders are great too. The meatball grinder has fresh bread not too crispy and. It too soft. The meatballs taste extremely flavorful and are perfectly moist. I go with the roasted peppers and prov cheese to round out what in my mind is the best meatball grinder on the east coast . And it’s 9.99 for a very large grinder so the value is there too! It’s a bi weekly staple in my diet, whether my heart likes it or not

I come here every time I visit my mom. Best calzone I've ever had, awesome grinders, big selection of crazy pizzas that are all so good. The entire staff is friendly, quick, and eager to please. Very comfortable family spot.

The food is delicious!!! The clam casino, Hawaiian, tomato onion bacon, and garlic pizza is our go-to pizzas. The dinners are great!!!

So I just ordered the broiled shrimp. I was a little annoyed when I came home to only find four shrimp in my meal. But let me tell you... the shrimp was huge and absolutely delicious and I was pretty full after I ate it. It also came with a huge serving of fries, a salad and a roll. I will definitely be going back again to get this.. 😊

My wife and I didn't feel like cooking tonight and we, over the past several months have tried the pizza from most of the local venues, the pizza here is probably the best we have had, not only from the local restaurants but in the northeast. We will never buy our pizza anywhere else but Olympic Pizza again. Next time we will try the grinders. Thank you

i love it it’s my absolute favorite and comfort food i live 30 mins away but still come weekly i just wish they were open mondaysss

Been working in Glastonbury for two years now and I've been trying to eat at all the different pizza places in the area. Olympic pizza is by far the best pizza around that I've had as of yet. Perfect crust, perfect amount of cheese, great service too.

My wife and I have enjoyed date night at Olympic's for years. The food is very satisfying (highly recommend the pizza, calzone, and chicken parm sandwich). The service is also prompt and courteous. As an aside, be sure to say hello to the woman who owns the restaurant; she is a wonderful person to chat with and she welcomes her guests with the enthusiasm of an old family friend!

Awesome chicken cutlet grinders/chicken parm. Solid Greek style pizza. Very nice people to deal with and we love supporting them.

Love this place try the fresh veal parmigiana dinner better than I have had at any high priced restaurants and the wings. Fantastic

One of my favorite places to get a quality entree. Reasonable prices, good service, nice variety, good portions. Nice owner too. I will love it even more if they can figure out how to get WiFi there or if cellular signal can reach them.

I would put this pizza head to head against any in the world. New York, Chicago, New Haven, anywhere... sure, even Italy, why not? I grew up on the stuff and have fond childhood memories, but I swear it's not just that. Olympic is the most flavorful and satisfying of them all.
