Done Right Painting

Jose and Mike, the team of Done Right Painting gave me and my wife a very happy memory during their interior and exterior (Interior Painting, Power Washing for Roof, Siding and Deck, Carpet Cleaning) projects for my home.

Their workmanship was excellent and accurate. They worked very hard for doing perfect job. Also their price is reasonable.

If I have any other project for the future, I will definitely work with Done Right Painting again.

Cheaper isn't always better. Against my better judgment my husband went with Done Right Painting to do the interior of our new home. It was a big project with wallpaper removal and a few challenges, which is why I was amazed at the price. Too good to be true! We paid 1/3 of the amount before starting. That was ok, I figured it's a small business, probably doesn't have money in the bank like that so he charges up front for materials. Halfway through the project I had to pay more money to buy more paint. I was fine with that, I had told his assistant if the paint for my sons room was more, I would pay the extra. He did deduct it from the total amount. On that day, I told him and his assistant "please let me know if this project was more than expected. I will talk to my husband and pay more. I just want it 'done right'". I was told the price was firm, no need to worry. Everything will be 'done right' at the price quoted. I reminded them, I work with doctors, hygienists, people who aren't on a strict budget. Make me happy and I'll share your name with everyone I know. The following day my husband went to see them. He was going to tell them he was going to pay more than what they agreed as long as they did a good job and I was happy with the results. Mid conversation Jose walks out the door, without excusing himself, and never came back. He waited half hour and he never returned. At that point, the offer to pay more went out the door with the rude owner. Basically his assistant did 75% of the work. After we paid them it took 2 days for them to take their equipment out of the house. Mind you, we had the floor guy waiting to get in there. They left a mess in the house. Plastic drop cloth in one of the showers, putty dust and paint INSIDE the toilet tank. The tub they used to clean their painting stuff was left dirty. I've been scraping pink and blue paint drops off of all the bathroom fixtures. White paint on the wood trim, white trim paint on the walls, a couple of broken electric covers. The small bathroom, they bought a quart of paint instead of a gallon so the coat of paint they did is blotchy and there isn't any paint left to give it another coat. I can't make this stuff up, I wish I could post pics. The curtain rod clips were painted over in the small bathroom. I must say Mike did a very nice job in my sons room. We should have listened to our adult children and taken a few days off of work and had a paint party. Probably would have had a better result. I really think the 5 star reviews are family or friends posting fake reviews. If you're looking to save money, give them a call, just don't set your expectations too high!

Horrible service. Do not use Jose Diaz for anything. He lied about the quality of the paint he was supposed to use. Told me Sherwin Williams and used the Lowes brand. He did a sloppy job on painting my cabinets. They were many spots with paint drips and where the old oak cabinet color was still showing. He used spray paint out of a can at the end to do touch up for all the spots he missed. He wasn't consistent in taking off all of the hardware before starting the projects, where in some spots they removed the old magnets and not others. He assistant (supposedly) drove over my lawn. He also didn't finish the job with 3 pieces left unfinished!!! Do not hire them. He will quote a super low price, increase during the project, and deliver terrible service.
