I stopped here today to grab myself a Scotts’ Jamaican Bakery beef patty right from the source as I was passing through.
The staff was efficient and was able to get me in & out quickly. My Jamaican beef patty was probably the best one I’ve ever had in my life!
The area could/does get sketchy at times...
There is a cooler inside with items for sale to go, that are in somewhat of a bulk packaging, which is pretty cool.

The best Coco bread! Hands down. I moved from Hartford about 10 years again and I still drive 45mins for coco bread and beef patty.

Hands down THE best hardo-bread and coco bread around town!!!!! I always purchase the sliced hardo bread. Clean environment and friendly staff.

I've been going here since the 90s. I still love this place, so many memories. Carrot juice and cornbread and cheese. Food tastes a little different, but it's still good.

Authentic Jamaican comfort food with all the savory island 🏝 flavors. There are also baked goods available and ice cold Ting, D&G, and Jarrisco beverages in the coolers. Frozen patties, standard (6/ package), and cocktail sizes available to bring home, which are excellent. Ample on the premises parking is availble.

Hands down the BEST Jamaican bakery in CT. I’ve been coming here my whole life and they never disappoint. The beef patties are unbeatable, coco bread is the softest bread you’ll ever taste and hard dough bread is addictive (especially when fresh out the oven).

Scott's is a gem. It's a treasure. I've been lucky enough to have access to great West Indian food my whole life and every time I'm back in town visiting family, we go to Scott's. Patties and coco bread, obvs, but also great duck bread and other sweets.

What can I say about this place has been a staple in Hartford for years this was the first location here Albany avenue but it used to be across the street where McDonald's is located in the new location Scott's has been here for 20 plus years.they have very very fresh food the smell of the baked bread is amazing the patties of course. everything is up in price but I got three patties for $10 yesterday I went to Elizabeth Park set down and enjoyed them all and as I was eating I was smelling Scott's bakery right out of the wrappers it was amazing Scott's bakery is the place they have great fresh food as well rice and beans they are there other locations have they have it all the bun and cheese oh Lord stop by if you are in Hartford this is one of the best places to get Jamaican food.

Their patties, buns, breads, and pretty much anything are the best in the New England area. I live in New York and still travel back to ct to get their Jamaican food. They’re the only place that does it the way its supposed to be done. Delicious.

I been coming to Scott's Jamaican Bakery, for a long time. The food is always fresh. Specially the Beef patties, and Coco bread. I recommend Scott's Jamaican Bakery without reservations.

Always a great Jamaican Patty at Scott's! I had chicken today along with the customary D&G Jamaican Ginger Beer soda. Great combination. I wish they still had broccoli and cheese.
