The Olive Bar

Very cozy local bar! Staff is very professional and personable. The bar side is separated from George's pizza restaurant, which is nice to know there are multiple ways to dine. My husband and I came for drinks and appetizers. The old-fashioned Tony made for us was crafted beautifully. He made the drink with finesse that showed he was versed in his craft. (Eta, my drink was full and delicious. I only thought to photograph it after I started drinking it). In the video, I filmed him creating an expresso martini (he did exquisitely dress them with expresso beans after I cut the video). Our apps were the coconut shrimp and jalapeño poppers. The coconut shrimp was delightful and cooked very nicely. It also came with a flavorful dipping sauce. The poppers were good, and as an app, both were portioned appropriately. Cannot wait to return and try more of the food menu as well as enjoy the inviting feel of this well established local bar!

Was there for the Radio 104 sound on the sound event. The staff there is amazing. The service and the way they weaved through the crowd and didn't spill anything, even when people got in the way.

Always a great time. Bar staff is top notch and always take care of their customers. Had a funeral lunching and we were so well taken care of we were blown away. Went back this weekend and had an issue with our meal. Bartenders went above and beyond and made sure we left happy. Highly recommend!

I always have to stop here when I'm in the area. LOVE there taco salad with chicken. Its so amazing. Also surprisingly good calamari and the grinders are huge! Overall it's safe to say this place is soo good!

This is by far our favorite watering hole. The owners treat us like family and their goods is awesome. The bartenders and servers are awesome. The atmosphere is always great here, whether it's the middle of the week or a weekend night. Stop by you will love it here.

Great place and service. You can eat at George's attached to the bar!! Owners are AWESOME. Family owned, for a LONG TIME. I'm 52 and don't remember if there were other owners, but I've always known the current owners all my life.

Its too loud for me, but the quality, service and atmosphere is tough to match. Especially for the location. Sit down anywhere and there's a drink in your face in 4 minutes on a busy night. It's kind of unheard of.

Amazing experience, arrived late evening, expressed how hungry we were and a plate of delicious hummus with homemade bread was placed before us! Amazing! Our meal was boxed ready to go. Friendly, kind service! If we lived there we would be regular customers. Rice pudding is a must, soooooo creamy.

The owner ,his wife n the staff are amazing the food is delicious there are certain things I can't have I need my meal to be made different the staff n the owners understand . They are kind , caring I feel so safe n happy I found place like the Olive bar .

Best bar around. Very generous portions of food. Always a great beer selection on tap. Awesome mixed drinks. Good vibe, good mix of people, and the hands down best bartenders and staff.

Great staff in the bar. Very friendly and offer excellent service. Food is incredible. Never had anything from the menu I haven't enjoyed.

This is a great place and the only local place like it. Plenty of tvs, younger crowd and nice bar area. The food is good and a convivial and lively atmosphere as the night goes on. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but unfortunately that is the case with most of Unionville.

One serving of moussaka, and a hearty glass of red wine, and you're hooked.
