Very pleased with the results & the crew were very hard working. I had gotten a 2 and quote from Certa Pro who at first said job would cost the same but then when they took a closer look at my shingles, they said half of them were too rotten to paint & needed to be replaced & would cost $17,000!! I found out later they also did a horrible job on my bosses house, with almost no prep work. Matt said it would take 9 days & they finished early M-Sat. They did all the proper steps of power washing, scraping, sealed whole house - not just bare spots & 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint that has a little sheen to it & feels tough like nails. He also gave me a good deal to add on my deck & did my horrible cement steps no extra charge. Highly recommend them. 2 real estate agents have already seen it & were very impressed with it as well.😊 It's now ready to sell!

When I called Father & Son Painting to schedule a quote to paint the main living area in my condo, which included an 18 ft. wall, Matt was available to visit my home the very next day. I usually get multiple quotes for home projects, but after meeting Matt, I did not feel the need to call any other painters! He is a genuinely nice guy who clearly takes pride in his company and the work he does. The price was affordable, the crew was professional, and the painting was perfect! Matt and crew did an amazing job on our 1938 West Hartford condo! It had not been painted in 30+ years and the plaster walls & ceilings were in bad shape with peeling paint, stains and cracks. They spent 2 whole days scraping, filling and skim coating the walls, ceilings and trim prior to painting then did multiple coats of paint on every surface. They did 3 different wall colors throughout the condo and painted all the trim and ceilings a bright crisp white using Benjamin Moore paint. The results were AMAZING! The condo looks brand new and every surface is flawless and fresh. It looks like we put in all new walls and the old dingy ceilings are bright and clean. They even caulked all the trim and it looks fantastic. The new paint really highlights all the vintage charm in our condo. I am overjoyed with the results and I highly recommend Matt and Father & Son Painting from Wethersfield. He was referred to us by a previous customer who also has a vintage home and she was right, they do great work. I felt the price was very fair for the work that they did over the last 5 days and I highly recommend them for any job that you have, but especially if your walls, ceilings and trim need a little extra TLC.

Matt and his team are super professional. Attention to detail and they use top quality paints. I’ve hired him twice and already lining up the next job. This last job I had an electrician make a ton of holes in my ceiling for recessed lighting. Matt assured me that I wouldn’t notice when he was done with patching and painting. He kept his promise and it looks great!
