Moesha does a great job with my 6 year old. She is patient and takes her time. She gives great advise on how to take the best care of her hair and works around our schedule. Best part is that her braids last, even with an active 6 year old!

After transitioning from relaxed to natural hair, I wanted to get protective styles to help my hair grow with limited maintenance. I found this salon close to home and so happy I did. The owner and staff are very nice. I am not that confident in wearing my hair natural yet because it has only been 19 months since my last relaxer. I got my hair crocheted. My stylist Moesha was so very pleasant, professional and educated me on hair care, helped me pick out products for my hair and told me how to maintain it. She was encouraging on my natural hair journey! I was also pleased that it only took a couple of hours. Extremely happy with service and plan on returning to her.

I had a great experience with stylist Moesha! She provided the hair for a small up charge but it was so worth it, she was able to create an amazing ombré look using two different colors! My hair looked amazing, neat parts, and she was fun to talk to. She did my hair for my birthday and I’ll be back for Thanksgiving as well. Great quality work, you get what you pay for! No complaints.

I needed to reschedule my appointment a little later and it was fine with no problem , the sweetest people you can meet ,My stylist Moesha did an amazing Barbie ponytail for my homecoming and all night I was getting compliments non stop i had to recommend this shop to everybody that asked and complimented me , 1 of the best things is they all provide the hair you need ! Their very patient and will definitely get what you need done .

So many things I appreciate about this business. My number one is that it is black owned. Secondly, they carry quality hair care products. In addition, the staff are sweethearts. I've gotten my hair done twice and plan on making them my new hair stylist (They all have skillzz). The way those ladies vibe is black girl magic at its best. You need to stop reading and go check them out!

Was very very pleased with my sew in! Kyra did a great job with my pattern, parting and leave out. My blend was great! Next time I plan to come back with better quality hair. Only thing I was hoping to get with the price I paid was a wash as well, Will definitely come again.

I brought my 9 year old daughter in to get her hair braided. Mo was very gentle and took her time with my daughter. The location was great. Salon was very welcoming, and the girls were a gem! The BEST part is that the front half is a beauty supply store and I didn’t have to go ANYWHERE else for hair accessories. A1!!

My stylist Sha was very professional. I booked an appt online, she was running over with another client and called me well in advance to push my appt to a later time (which I was happy she didn't just cancel or re-book it). Upon arrival I was greeted and screened (covid-19 guidelines). I waited for her to be ready- she was running late with the prior client, no big deal their playlist was popping. She checked in with me a couple times and apologized for the delay and thanked me for being patient... let me say I've been relaxing my hair over 20 years and this is the most gentle procedure I've ever experienced. She checked in to make sure it wasn't burning. She was gentle with the application and USED HER FINGERS TO SMOOTH THE SECTIONS RATHER THAN RAKE A COMB THROUGH IT LIKE THE MAJORITY OF OTHER STYLISTS!!! The wash out as amazing- she took much care of the back of my hair which it seems that most stylists pay the most attention to the top and sides, she was also very careful in using her finger tips instead of her nails. She recommended my next treatment upon completion. I'll definitely be back!!!! Sha is amazing.... also the salon was very clean. I was shocked to learn that they have an actual hair store in the front, salon in the back. Which is amazing- no more making a trip to a hair store prior to appts. Can't wait to try out their other services.

The owner of Jeweled Hair Lounge is a phenomenal woman! She went above and beyond to ensure I received my order after it was shipped to the wrong address. I appreciate her dedication and commitment to her job and her customers. I definitely recommend!

This place is absolutely amazing!! I did my hair with Moona she is amazing! So friendly and quick. Did my knotless braids in 4 hours. The salon is in the back, the hair store is in the front which makes it super easy to get what you need immediately after your service. I will defiantely be going back. Such a nice ambience and clean!

Jeweled Hair Lounge is an inviting, well managed and well maintained store. This hair store is black owned and the owner makes her own hair oil that I swear by. My Aunt referred me to the owner and her store and I do my best to shop their for all my hair needs. Everyone support this amazing black woman and her black owned hair store.

Moesha did an amazing job with my medium knotless braids. She’s very polite and cares about your hair. My braids weren’t tight and very easy to style. I’ll be returning.

Jeweled Hair Lounge & Beauty Spa is the hidden gem on Main St! I recently moved to Connecticut from Maine and it’s so nice to have a salon that knows what to do with ethnic hair. Don’t even get me started on the atmosphere.. all the ladies are so personable and talented. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to get their hair SLAYED. 👑
