Doogie's

Great hot dog spot with tons of toppings, and lots of other food options, not just hot dogs. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere is 60s themed but fast food looking - could probably have a more restaurant-ish 60s theme that would look a little nicer. Loved the hot dogs and the sweet relish is delish. Reasonably priced. Tables all had stacks of old Trivial Pursuit cards, which was cute to do while waiting for your food. Will def stop here again when in the area.

We bought the cheese and bacon foot long hotdogs. I've never had anything that tasted so good!

I go here 3x a week, they got me hooked! The curly fries are perfect amount of crunch and seasoning, I always get a hot dog, their spicy relish is fire!

This is a nice little spot to go to for lunch. They keep it clean, and the staff is cool. Food tastes good and it's made when you order it. Fries are delicious. They have a good variety to choose from as well. In this day and age, the prices are reasonable also. Definitely worth trying at least once. You might end up going back a few more times.

I ordered the 16" chili cheese hot dog and it was the best hot dog meat that I have ever had, the bun was perfectly prepared, and the chili was delicious. I highly recommend this place and I will be eating there again. It's an hour trip for me but it is worth it.

Doogies is a Staple in our House! It’s great for after a sporting event or extra curricular during the week. Doogies has a huge menu with something for everyone. Hard to pass up on the fried dough. The Dixie is always a favorite and is less filling than a cheesesteak or some of the other choices. Curly fries are the ONLY appropriate choice. The mini corn dogs are a hit with kids. Wonderful outdoor picnic table seating and right across the street from the Dairy Queen!!

We recently had the pleasure of eating at Doogie's for the first time. It did not disappoint. We ordered 2 24" dogs and a 16". The 3 of us all ordered something different on our dogs. Mine had the sweetest caramelized onions I've ever eaten - nicely offset by horseradish! My brother enjoyed his rueben dog and my husband went for the traditional mustard and relish. The menu had many other appetizing choices but I'm glad I tried the Doogie's hotdog. Onion rings were delicious - we enjoyed everything we ordered.

OMG! Such great food here for such a decent price. I highly recommend the steak and cheese sandwich. It’s very filling. The hot dogs are good although they are thin. Fried mushrooms and fried Mac and cheese were excellent. I can’t wait to visit again to try other menu items.
I tried the fish n chip platter and that was excellent as well. Very large portion for the regular size that was split between 3 people.

Classic style quick bite to eat limited seating with great hotdogs and toppings. Was on man vs food foe there 2 ft long hotdogs. Old school feel and huge portions.

A typical local hot dog shop, this place was fun, friendly and serve up delicious grub. No 2-foot dogs available the day we visited, so we had to settle for the 18 inchers. Delicious, fast service and plenty of dine in seating. A fun experience I highly recommend.

Go there for the nostalgia or go there for the awesome food. Friendly Fast service. Nice hotdogs toppings. Very very good Fish and Chips. Fair price for the quality and quantity of food served. Can't wait to go back and try the cheeseburgers, and clam strips.

The only complaint I had was the not so friendly man who took my order. When i asked for ketchup, lite mustard and onions on my order, he pointed and said over there... What's over where?! That was my 1st time ever setting foot in Doogie's. Ive driven by many many times and always wanted to stop in and wish i had sooner. Overall, I had a great experience. The food was excellent. I would offer 1 suggestion and tell your customers that the condiments are self-serve rather than point and expect them to know what you're pointing to and why.

What an amazing hot dog! This place was awesome! A great retro vibe, a fantastic 16 in. hot dog, very reasonable prices, great customer service, and the connection to Man Versus Food makes this place a must-see visit and a treasured stop along the way of culinary memories!! Doogie's is ALWAYS good. Not only do they have tasty natural casing hot dogs up to TWO FEET long. But they offer some of the best fish available this far inland. FRESH fish and chips clams whole or stripes and other fish offers. Good portions too. Well worth checking out and returning to again and again!
Has it changed since the plague? Yes. It's gotten better!

Great service,Good Food and old fashion footlong hot dogs and burgers even milkshakes .fish and chips with fries is soon good! Can't beat the prices.enjoy this step back in time Elvis and Chuck Berry and records and music bring back the good old days.

Once you get over the size of the 24" man vs food dog it's quite delicious plus the staff was great.

Excellent service and quite possibly the best hot dog I've ever had. Perfect toasted bun, delicious hot dog, and great toppings. Definitely looking forward to the next time I'm in the area so I have an excuse to stop by again!

i have been to doogies at least i would say a dozen times and the food is awesome, there hot dogs are out of this world. there famous foot long hot dog is the best i have ever had, they keep the place very clean, and the service is just awesome. please come on down and have a meal. you will be very pleased. i try to visit doogies as much as i can. i just love there hot dogs.

I tried the challenge and failed. But it was a very good dog. The chili is mild but flavorful. Good bacon. Fries are good too. Small inside but seating wasn't an issue. It was a little warm inside (which may have contributed to my demise) but wasn't unbearable considering the change of seasons to the warm side of spring. All in all I like it there. Ample parking. The prices are fair. They are kid friendly. The restroom is clean. And it's service with a smile. What more could you ask for?

Doogie's has always been one of my local go-tos for quite awhile. The food is always good and top quality, and well worth the premium price posted. Lots of parking, great atmosphere, especially if you like that old time genuine 50s era. Always warm and inviting, and they always have great deals and a fantastic menu.
