Their food is delicious I had a party pizza from there and chicken and rice sorry I forgot to take a pic of the pizza the only thing is the rice was a little dry if they put vegetables with the chicken and rice done like street corn or broccoli and put butter in the rice it would be 10🌟s so I give a 9 on the chicken and rice for 11$ they could have put vegetables!

Although the steak and roast beef grinders had little to no flavor(could be an east coast thing), the food was good. Ordered online, picked it up within 20 mins, and was back to the hotel in no time at all.

Food is delicious. I’ve tried their hot pastrami and their chicken teriyaki Philly. Both were just incredible. Prices are amazing for the quality and quantity of food provided. Restaurant is clean and comfortable and full of personality.

This place deserves its 5 out of 5 stars. This is the perfect grinder shop and you’ll ask yourself why you would ever eat at a chain if you can just eat here? First thing you’ll notice about their sandwiches is the amount of meat (so much!) and then once you taste it, you notice the quality. High quality turkey breast, not the filler stuff you find at the other places. This is my go to now; only regret is I didn’t find it sooner but oh well, I’ll make up for that.

They have the BESTEST heated Combo grinder (coldcut)..in fact we been coming here ever since the 80s (traveling all the way from Holyoke mall area in Massachusetts...over the years we've enjoyed the chicken n potato wedges..the pizza n the meatball grinders..the owners are wonderful people and the staff very nice.So many choices of great food n beverages n chips there's something for everyone. Plenty of seating.Ample parking lot .

Delicious 😋 we came in with a group of 8 and they did everything to accommodate us and the owner even came over to say hi and ask if we needed anything. Could not believe how big the grinders were and so very good! We had a great time and my husband and I will definitely come back when we return again from Illinois. Our relatives that live here are current customers.

I and my colleague were amazed about the warming welcoming and loving service of Mr Fazza.

We are pilots and being Thanksgiving day away from home with very few options open, we passed by and we saw the lights on. We came inside and the place was empty. Suddenly Mr Fazza came and said hello!!
I asked: hello are you open? He reply No and Yes. I can prep cold sandwiches. My friend wanted hot food, so Mr Fazza said I will cook a pizza for you…. That is amazing hospitality.

He was there in his restaurant cooking turkeys for his Thanksgiving dinner. His friends and family started to show up, and we joined pleasant conversations.

He is a Vietnam Vet
He has a great place, old fashioned.

He is an example of being a hard working but among all of this adjectives HE IS HUMAN.

I drive trucks over the road ive ate in every town you can think of in America this place right here is definitely the spot to go to I highly recommend this place the grinder i had beef and the pasta was made with god hands😂 10/10

If you are anywhere near this deli, you should prioritize eating here. High quality deli meats in their grinders and everything from chicken and burgers to amazing fries (don’t miss the fries!). Huge portions!!!Owner is super kind, a military family and loves his business, really great local small business story. Everyone says hi when you’re there so bring your friendly people with you.

This little pizza place is amazing! The owners are very friendly and the staff is wonderful. You order a grinder they slice the meat fresh to order ame for salads. The pizza is great as well. Prices very reasonable. They also have fried chicken and jojos! Lots of options here! Definitely recommend!

Love this place! People leaving one star reviews because prices have gone up should just go somewhere else because the prices here are unbeatable and I would dare someone to try and tell me otherwise. It would be impossible for a mom and pop shop not to go up during these expensive times and would put any place out of business! They stayed open during the pandemic and continue feeding the public daily. Why go to subway, geisslers or any other sandwich making shop for a 6 inch sub with no meat and pay close to, if not more for your food, when you can get more food and better quality food here. Still owned and operated by the same man who opened it 50 years ago, all the while the menu and quality of food has stayed top notch and consistent for all these years of being open and operating.

We are home in CT for the holidays and staying at a nearby hotel. We needed a fast lunch that could be delivered. We ordered delivery using their online portal, "Slice," and it was a seamless, smooth experience from start to finish! We were able to order online and make changes/substitutions to what we wanted. Then, minutes later, it was delivered right to our hotel room door.

On to the food - AMAZING. We ordered a turkey grinder and added ham and jalapenos. The bread is light and fluffy. They pile on the meat and fixings. It's delicious! I ordered a baked chicken salad and there was a HUGE helping of chicken on top. It was a little dry but still very tasty. Because we're gluttons, we also got seasoned fries and I can not stop eating them.

Needless to say, this will be our new favorite for whenever we're back in Connecticut. THANK YOU!

Absolutely delicious Fried Chicken& great big delicious pastrami grinder.Reasonably priced and the jojo potatoes are a favorite.We'll go back very soon.

Made the mistake (in a positive way) of ordering the 16 inch cheesesteak. Could barely finish the 8 inch it was so packed, tasty and delicious.

Love this place, have been coming here while I’m in town over the years. Not much changes. Owner is great guy. Food is fantastic.

Just wanted to thank the owner for outstanding food and service. I ordered over 25 grinders for an athletic team playing at nearby Loomis Chaffe. He delivered them himself, found our playing field, and the team loved the food. Highly recommend!

Amazing food, don’t be fooled by location or building. Palestinian owned, they give back to local military with awards on the wall to show their patriotism. Baked chicken, rice, pasta, old school pizza with the thick dough, reasonable pricing, try it CT. Or try when at Bradley Airport, only minutes away

I went here for the first time and I was impressed! The large is two feet long and it was heaping with roastbeef and the other vegetables I requested! The sandwich was delicious 😋 and it's a good thing that they cut the grinder in quarters because I could only eat a quarter of the big delicious sandwich! Which means that I can eat it for lunch for 3 days after the quarter 🤔 of itI had today. I feel very good about recommending this place for grinders! They also serve pizza.

Fantastic family run business. They are some of the kindest people I've ever met, and the food has always been delicious. When you want a giant grinder, this is THE place you need to come. It's what comes to mind when I think of a local place that does a proper grinder.

I feel I also have to share the story that brought me to find this place: Once when I was stuck at BDL airport during the height of COVID, they were one of the only people around and open that were able to get food to me. Everything in the airports and nearby was closed; my crew and I hadn't eaten all day, had been rerouted and delayed due to weather, running on 17 hours of no food and were desperate to eat; each of us texting each other from our isolation in the hotel rooms if we found a place open.

Due to a delivery error with UberEats messing up and cancelling my order several times with no explanation and many excuses, 2nd Poquonock came to the hotel on their own even though they only delivered thru delivery apps at that time and delivered my food for me. In addition, upon learning I was airline crew during the phone call trying to straighten the mess out, they sent extra food FREE OF CHARGE for the entire crew to make sure we could eat that night and have plenty of extra for the next two days of our trip. They fed my entire crew and I out of the goodness of their hearts, and I will never forget that since we had not eaten all day and were facing a night of not having eaten.

I will happily bring my business back every time and bring everyone else I know to this place. I am very happy to see they have emerged from the nightmare of the past two years of Covid shutdowns and are still kicking, and I can't wait to visit again soon and have another grinder on that patio outside.
