Jamie did an AWESOME job on my husband's 30th Birthday cake. Not only did it look phenomenal, but the cake was moist and the lemon curd and raspberry mousse were delicious!!! Highly recommended!!!

I ordered 10 cupcakes and 2 wraps from here and they were delicious beyond words! The frosting is so light and airy and the wraps were so flavorful! The owners are a husband a wife couple, although I didn’t get to meet the husband, the wife was amazing. The shop is super cute. Honestly the best experience. Would definitely return and 10/10 recommend!! Thank you guys so much.

Incredible service, food and cupcakes. Everyone enjoys a cup cake every once and in a while. They are delicious and I recommend you try the paninis! I had the steak and cheese. Great flavor and enjoy looking forward to seasonal cupcakes!

First off, let me say that this is the best bakery in Branford and New Haven. I spent over a month trying to find a bakery to make a cake exactly like this one in the picture. Many people said they couldn’t do it, said it would be over $125, and even said there’s no guarantee it will look like the picture. So many bakeries didn’t let me express my ideas and thoughts and were so push, pricey or rude.

LOVE BAKERY DID EVERYTHING PERFECT. I walked in, after trying countless other bakeries and pastry places, and I was greeted with the biggest smile under a mask. Immediately I felt so much more comfortable and relaxed after entering. The owner told me to send details online via email and she’d get back to me. She was so sweet and kind and was confident in her abilities which was so refreshing to see. I placed a cake order with Love Bakery shortly after and the owners made me feel confident in my decision and extremely comfortable. She was so understanding over the phone, did not try to overpower what I wanted and made a simple photo into a real cake. The owners are EXTREMELY talented and so humble. Fantastic price, customer service, and amazing food / pastries. Everyone who enjoyed this cake literally had their jaws drop and were so impressed. Jamie & Ray, kudos to you both!

I have also bought a couple of cupcake that was SO fresh, so light, not overly sweet or rich and moist cake. It was so reasonably priced and did not make you feel sickly full after. I can literally eat 6 in a row and not feel bad. ALSO!! the flavoring of these cupcakes are pristine.

I live about 40-50 minutes away from the bakery but my boyfriend is on the job as a firefighter and I was going to visit, wanted to bring sweets to him and the crew. The co-owner was so nice and welcoming. The crew had nothing but great things to say about the cupcakes/cookies I brought and I loved how many different kind of cupcakes they had. I also loved how I was told about how the husband (I'm not sure of either of their names I'm sorry) makes lunches and was introduced to that menu. I will be back in the area to visit and will definitely stop back in. Customer service 10/10

I have searched EVERYWHERE since 2012 for decent gluten free cakes. Ones that weren't dry. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. My husband ordered me two cakes for my 30th birthday in April. One for my birthday and one for the party. Everyone ate them, people who weren't even gluten free and said how incredible the cakes were. SOOOO HAPPY to have FINALLY found gluten free cakes that taste AMAZING!!! I also recently got 6 gluten free death by chocolate cupcakes from there too.. they melted in my mouth. Truly delicious -I will never get a cake or cupcakes from anywhere else.

Found this quaint little place very nice cupcakes are not super size which I prefer smaller regular cupcakes. Prices more than reasonable and you can not beat the taste.. Actually booked them for my son's wedding..

I have 52 years of extensive grilled cheese sandwich research behind this statement: This was, hands-down, the best I’ve ever had. Astonishing.

Love Bakery & Cafe made our wedding cake and it was delicious! The snickerdoodle cake was amazing and the frosting was also incredible. They let us do a tasting with cupcakes and it was so hard to choose a flavor because everything was so tasty. They delivered to the venue and everything went smoothly. The cake looked beautiful and so many guests commented on how delicious it was. Thank you!!

I haven’t dined at the establishment itself (yet) but I was given a few cupcakes by a friend. THEY ARE AMAZING. I prefer a cupcake that doesn’t feel like it’s giving me a cavity. The frosting has a perfect amount of sweetness and flavor and the cake itself is really moist and delicious. Thank you for making a cupcake I absolutely love! Can’t wait to try the other items you offer!

Love Love Bakery and cafe. When you can’t decide between a delicious beet salad and a flatbread ask for both. It was so delicious!! Crunchy flatbread topped with warm beets, creamy goat cheese, sliced almonds, mandarin orange segments, fresh greens and balsamic drizzle. I already can’t wait my my next visit. Turkey club was delicious. The bread was awesome and a TON of food. It’s the right balance of flavors. Nachos were delicious and spicy. And to finish it all off the BEST cupcakes we’ve ever had. So moist and unique flavors. We love the gluten free options as well. Worth the 60 mile drive for us.

Ray & Jamie went above & beyond with an amazing assortment of sandwiches, wraps & salad for a very special celebration. The cupcakes were outrageously amazing! There are simply no words good enough to express our deepest appreciation for the special care you put into the preparation. A very special thank you with hugs to Ray & Jamie for packing up my car ! Lovely spot for lunch. Bakery items are A+++. One of the owners, Jamie, served our table. Delightful young woman. So enthusiastic and upbeat. She does all the baking, trained at a prestigious institute, and hubby, co-owner, is a culinary trained chef. Tasty menu items. Chili is addictive served with warm tortilla chips. An explosion of flavors!! Paninis and flatbread were scrumptious! If in the area check this place out! We took home a half dozen cupcakes, and ordered a birthday cake for March. Very impressed and highly recommend!

I would drive hours just to have one of these cupcakes again...luckily I only have to go about 30 minutes. I was in the Branford area and stumbled across this bakery from an Instagram recommendation. I had the snickerdoodle and the lemon raspberry bomb cupcakes. Let me tell you...they were the lightest, fluffiest, most delicious cupcakes I’ve ever eaten. I can’t wait to get these for every occasion and try other flavors. The owner was the nicest woman too! Wow wow wow, absolutely incredible!

The food taste so fresh and the cupcakes are amazing. My favorite is death by chocolates and the owners are very nice. All in all great bakery/restaurant. I highly recommend it if you are local.

The owners are so so sweet!! And their gluten free cupcakes are out of this world!! I’ve been gluten free for about 13 years and never have had any that compare to Love Bakery’s!! I travel over an hour just for them!!!

I absolutely LOVE this place. My mom and I always get the pernil with rice and beans, the foods always fresh and tastes great! But the best part about going to love bakery isn’t just the food. It’s the service !! The owners are awesome!! Highly recommend !! ❤
