The Mill on the River

It has been a few years since I have had dinner here. (I have eaten here a few times since I had my wedding reception here 30 years ago!) So glad to find that the food is still excellent and the service is so attentive. The appetizers, main dishes, and desserts we had were all outstanding. Will definitely be returning again when we're back in town.

My wife and I had a small lunch. We started with appetizers of calamari which had two different sauces, and was very tender and also had a dozen oysters Rockefeller, which were excellent. We then both had a Caesar salad and a chop salad, which both satisfied our appetite along with soda and a beer. The meal was very expensive but good.

We went here for dinner Friday night. We had reservations and they got us seated right away. They restaurant and the grounds are beautifully scenic.
Our food was great. I had Chicken Cordon Bleu and the wife had Baked Stuffed Shrimp- both of which were the best we each had of these particular meals in a very long time, if not all time. They have bottled Yuengling beer, my new favorite beer.
The stairs to go downstairs are steep, but there is a stair lift for those who find the stairs too challenging.

I have been here couple times. everything amazing. Great views and atmosphere all year round. Amazing service always fast and on point. Food always cooked correctly, perfect place for a date night or any special occasion. Definitely recommend and worth visiting

We had a wonderful early dinner and drinks! My husband had the house burger, I had the prime rib. Both were cooked perfectly, and absolutely delicious. We were very pleased with the service we received. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Every aspect of our experience was five star. We will definitely be returning!

We walked over the covered bridge to make way to the Mill on the River. My family celebrated our September birthdays here. We have also had weddings, showers, funerals, and, yes, even celebrated divorces here. The atmosphere is wonderful inside and outside. This evening I enjoyed the beet salad and a German dish (veal fried) it was wonderful! I forgot to snap a photo 🙃 but it is one of their most popular dishes. Be sure to make a reservation to this wonderful restaurant.

Beautiful and romantic place with delicious food! Outdoor and indoor seating available. Perfect place for date with loved ones. I've been here a couple of times and always was enjoying the food and atmosphere. My meal was cooked perfectly and fish was so fresh and delicious. Tuna was soo good! Also, red fish with sea food are my favorite. Soups of the day, my favorite.

This is a great place. We were seated by the window overlooking the Mill, food was delicious and the staff recognized my hubby’s birthday without us mentioning directly.

Wonderful food, new outdoor dining patio area near the water and an excellent waiter, Eric.

We dined with friends, two of us had the lobster special, one had a large steak and the other the salmon. Appetizers of crab and escargot were nicely prepared.

A great experience and we even received a tour of the facility after dining and the staff gave us history on the working mill. We will be happy to dine here again!

Stopped here on road trip and enjoyed eating in the bar area. We had the Jager schnitzel and the Spicy Asian pasta dish. Both entrees were delicious! Mike was our server and was great.

dinner outside by the river was amazing. servers were very gentle and the food was very GOOD. ROMANTIC PLACE TO EAT AND YOU CAN RESERVE WITH TIME.

I went for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. This was my first time visiting Mill on the River. Service was excellent and the food was Just as good. Atmosphere was wonderful. Very cozy. I had the beet salad with candied walnuts, feta cheese & grilled chicken and the butternut squash bisque soup and it came with apple strudel for dessert. My friend had the rigatoni and she said it was delicious and the Caesar salad. Will definitely make a trip back.

A wonderful place to go for an upscale meal and atmosphere. The menu has a large variety of seafood to choose from as well as stakes, pasta dishes and vegetarian options. There is an enclosed heated patio to enjoy during the cold season and it's opened up in the nice weather. The patio overlooks the river, with a fountain that is lit after dark. There are beautiful banquet halls for any type of party. The staff is amazing! They have large selection of high end wine.

My wife and I stopped for a late lunch. The food was outstanding. The service was great, friendly and helpful. The view of the mill pond was beautiful and we were treated with a visit from the Heron who frequents the water way (see photos attached). Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Legitimately one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Service was prompt, polite and efficient while still being pleasant. Food was immaculate and those people in the kitchen got that food out in record time. Definitely heavily recommend this place

High quality place , food tasted excellent and service was too good and friendly ( thanks to Alyssa).

Ambience was too good , view through the windows were just perfect.

We had French onion soup which was top notch , Buffalo mozzarella was too good and Parmesan chicken was just the way it should be with the right portion size .

My husband and I went here for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Been wanting to go here for awhile and he surprised me. We had outdoor dining the weather was beautiful and the food is fresh and the view is spectacular. Our waiter Ish was really good and definitely catered to our needs. Definitely going back and highly recommend for anyone to go.
