Mill Woods Park

I been going to this park 4 years since my husband started playing softball i can say one of the best park I've ever been good for kids to play too

Love this park. Beautiful clean and see all kinds of flowers butterflies dragonfly frog swan canaries blue bird robin red birds exc.

Nice park, had our company's first annual Hospitality Games !!

Been going there for 60+ years. Swimming, ice skating, rec in 70's. Tennis court dances 60's, Matt Helm movies on Beach early 70's.

Great place

Most wonderful place on earth.. it is so beautiful there. There is a dog park, tennis courts, a skate board park, trails, places to picnic, and great trails. It's very clean and well cared for. There is also a lake (closed) this year due to virus. There are fields for baseball games, soccer games, etc. My dog and I LOVE this place!!!

Tennis courts are amazing! 4 courts and not too many other people play there.

Been a staple of Wethersfield since I was a kid... over 40 years ago!

I used to live in that town and like the park always. This time I was even more impressed when I follow the signs to a dog park that they had way way way in the back of the park. Had a dream the lots of the wood chips that were done quite wet but it was still fun place to visit very shady for the pets

Nice park. Lots to do in the different areas. There isna dog park,skate park,baseball field,picnic area,playground,walking trails. Plenty of parking and nicely kept. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to go and spend some time with your family.

Had a child's birthday party at the Pavilion. It's a great space & the shaded playground is so close you don't have to worry about your kids running off to play.

Great shady park. There are playscapes for toddlers and big kids, along with swings all under shade. Great on a hot day. There is also a great little league field and multiple softball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, skate park, bocce ball courtd, and soccer fields. The town pond is attached as well. Within walking distance of a lot of neighborhoods.

Absolutely great for kid events, like birthdays (my friend's kids 2nd bday was here)
Hall is average size, 25-30 ish peoples. 2 Dining rooms, small (6-8 people), large (18-20 people).
Hall has lot of small games nd puzzles to keep childrens busy.
The best part is the animals kept there ... which is where kids spend there time and are happy (thts why i said great place).
Hallway is pretty good for kids to run around :-)

And, whts more ... its kind of cheap.

Staff is very friendly as well, no nudging or anything (while decorating, etc.)

It's a great swimming hole. For covid you need to register before hand for a 2.5 hour slot for $5. There is a sandy beach with a paved swimming hole 5' deep after that is natural pond bottom.

Lifeguards and switched every 15 mitnues there is a bathroom and changing room and a icecream truck that comes by regularly.

Was very big nice working that dont mind to have a conversation while they work really enjoyed millwood pound was big not to crowded but had a good amount of people there and its not really section off like kids on one side and adult on the other but they do have the option to be in different areas and activities to go with it for the kids

There's a pool open in the summer time. Many children sports are played as the park has tennis courts, scoccer fields, baseball fields, I'm sure there's one for football too.
And if that wasn't enough.. there's a dog park, there are grills out toward the hack for picnic's. There's a skatepark, there's a playscape. There is literally something for everyone here. And depending upon when this review is read or not, it's a rare spawn point in pokemon go. Literally everything.
