The Avenue

We went to this restaurant Friday night to grab some dinner. I was surprised by how busy it was here.
This place appears to have come along way from years ago when it was basically a dive bar.
The staff here was friendly and attentive, keeping us in the loop as to what was going on and how long it would be before we would be seated.
We were able to go in the bar and have a drink while waiting for our table.
We had a large pizza called “The Works” and it basically had everything you would expect to find on a house special except anchovies, but including bacon!
We were very happy we decided to come here and we will be returning to have try some of their dinners in lieu of just pizza.
It is a little deceiving in regards to how busy this place is because everybody parks in the back (for the most part). The parking lot is not visible from the road. As a matter of fact, the parking lot gets pretty full, but luckily we were able to find a place to park.

Amazing potato pizza, flavor was phenomenal. Also got wings which I will give 7 out of 10 for the teriyaki and 5 out of 10 for Buffalo hot. Hot did not have any real heat. Wings were not crispy but still thoroughly cooked. Overall experience was 9. Server was on point all night.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Havent had a 10 star experience in a long time. The food was exceptional. The service was great, as soon as you finish a dish a host was right on top of it. Plenty of room on the table, and in the restaurant. The waiting area is comfortable and large.
Beautiful inside and out. The waiter was amazing got everything in a timely manner. I cant wait to eat my leftovers already. The prices were also normal and not over priced. Definitely will be back!

Food was amazing. The server was great and offered the most popular recommendations. We ended up with the stuffed mushrooms, and garlic knots for apps. For dinner we tried their specials which you should definitely try. The server said the specials change regularly which is great to hear for a variety of options. We got generous side salads for our dinner and their house made bread was some of the best I had. I got to speak to the owner for a while, they’re great people. Definately 100% recommend.

Fantastic atmosphere and restraunt. Food was amazing and the service was fantastic. We had an amazing server who was extremely attentive and on top of everything we needed. The cocktails were exceptional and I absolutely WILL be back!!!

This place always makes me happy. The 5 stars are because the food and ambiance is always great, the staff are always friendly and I just feel relaxed and at home here. Definitely gets busy from time to time but that is the sign of a great establishment!!

Truly a hidden gem that has a home style atmosphere with excellent food and beverage choices. Though quite busy, our server Jeremy was very helpful and professional. Will be back again.

Gluten Free Buffalo Mushroom Pizza. (A vegetarian version of buff chicken) It was double as good as it looks. Their gluten free crust is like no other in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Came here on a whim and glad I did. Food was excellent and so was the service. Rustic atmosphere but it works and adds trip the charm of the place.

We discovered The Avenue through a friend who had their pizza at a party and we are so glad they did. We love discovering new restaurants and this one is amazing. Their pizza is thin, crispy and delicious. Also got their bolognese and boneless wings and both were fantastic. Everybody that works there is super nice as well. Definitely give it a whirl if you’re in the area!

My wife had a great Cajun Chicken dinner special that was unbelievable! I had the Salmon Risotto special. That was fantastic! Please support our great local restaurants. The Avenue never lets us down. Keep up the great work. Ray B . Berlin.

Amazing food, drinks, and ambiance. The service is impeccable. All the servers are amazing. The food is to die for and the presentation is always top notch. Their spexial are always at a 10. Love it one of my favorites 😍

First time visiting The Avenue. We enjoyed the food we ordered for dinner. It was a very busy night. Stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. Chicken marsala & vegetables for our dinner, along with chicken parmesan. Both had great taste. Met the owner who was friendly!

I’ve only been living in the area for about 5 years, but The Avenue’s food has always been one of my favorite restaurants in the area!! …I’ve yet to order something I don’t like. Tonight an order for takeout was filled incorrectly because of a simple misunderstanding, and when I called, they were so nice about it. They had no problem correcting the order and when I said I’d go back to get it, they offered to deliver the corrected item, which was unnecessary, but so much appreciated. Jamie delivered it herself!! All the girls at the takeout window are always very friendly and do a great job! Hats off to The Avenue, My favorite neighborhood restaurant that always plays great music for an older crowd, which I love!

You have the best pasta with clams I will be back and let all my friends know!

Went here for the first time got the veggie pizza wonderful, but what was even more amazing was this terimisu never had anything quite like it beforewas just mind blown of how cloud like it was. If you ever go here you gotta try it for yourself you won't regret it trust me. And of course can't go wrong with the pizza's either delicious!!
