From my first call to place an order for an anniversary party I knew I contacted the right place even before we tasted the pies. Joan was so helpful, didn't rush me and even offered to wrap the pies in ribbon with a happy anniversary message and include a pie server. Joan also made recommendations and told me about their best sellers. We ended up ordering the blueberry/peach, lemon meringue, cherry and pecan. Our family had a hard time choosing our favorite. The crust was flaky and the fruit filling was the perfect consistency. That pecan pie was sweet and decadent and the lemon meringue was perfectly tart and delicious. Thank you to the entire team at Granny's Pie Factory.

Atmosphere doesn't matter, this is literally a pie factory. The staff is very accommodating and helpful; the selection is huge, and the quality is top notch. Pies are returnable, as long as you haven't eaten too much.

They make pies and fillings on the down-low for a number of other places such as restaurants; grocery stores, and farm stands.

Great family run business on School Street in East Hartford. They run a contest on March 14 which is known as Pi Day. Can't wait to eat my reward for knowing the value of pi to the 10th decimal point.

A friend of mine gave me a pie from grannys pie factory and it was absolutely amazing. My kids loved the pie and we will be definitely going back. One of my other friends had mentioned this place to me and now i can attest it is absolutely amazing and delicious.

This pie factory is a little gem in the middle of East Hartford that I'd recommend for great quality pie. They have a good assortment of fruit and non-fruit pies all for extremely reasonable prices. They taste incredible and don't use things like filler or corn syrup to replace fruits in each pie. They have a small parking lot, but I was able to find a spot pretty easily.

Client gave me a Granny's Pie, and honestly it was the best end of year gift. So amazing. Pie was gone in no time. Staff enjoyed. Makes for a great cooperate gift.

Very good pies at fair prices and great service

I didn't go to the store but I've tried their pie from the Sunday market in Colchester and it blew me away. Their pies are one of the best pies I've ever tasted. I just really love it! I wish I bought more. I was looking for their store hence I'm here and this has been the most exciting review I've ever done in Google map. Their pies are the best. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

There is such a lovely woman at the front. The pies are very nice and they have a large selection of flavors!

Very little parking. Pies are to die for. Very delicious, and we go back every year when the holidays are around. Been going there for over 40 years.

My cousin and I had originally been introduced to Granny's pies when our children did them for a band fundraiser. Unfortunately they didn't do the pie fundraiser this year so my cousin and I drove an hour and a half to get our pies.

I love these pies! The staff are extremely helpful and if they aren't super busy love to interact with their customers. Been coming here for the last 15 years, and will never buy pies from a grocery store!

This is my second year going to Granny's pie factory I love it wouldn't change it for the world opened up early because the line got long and it was raining like crazy and they was kind enough to open their doors early thank you guys keep up the good work
