Even Stephens

We have never had a bad meal at Even Stephen's. We weren't planning on eating dinner out today but we were headed home from our daily walk and passed by the place right around dinner time. ES always has a few Daily Specials and we decided to split the Crab Cakes with roasted vegetables, mashed spuds and a huge potato pancake with apple sauce and sour cream. They also offered a great dessert choice of a cheese cake sampler or a raspberry crumb cake ala mode. Every bite was delicious and we made the right choice in splitting the order since it would have been a chore to carry the leftovers while walking the rest of the way home. 🚶🏡🚶
Great news is that ES is preparing to open up for dinner every night during the week! If you have never tried the super home style food at ES, you deserve to treat yourselves. Prices are always reasonable and portions are very generous. The staff is always warm and friendly and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive, to the time you say adios, as you will be back for a next time.

Great coffee, perfect service and the food beats any franchise. Perfect!

Stopped in tonight for dinner. Dine alone . As always right on point. Very friendly Staff. Ordered the Tonight's specials of Cube Steak. Was favorable, veggies and mashed potatoes was a good addition as well as the claim chowed. 5 stars rated but if could lot more.

Fresh good . Hot . Fast . Excellent service And staff !

My Husband and I been coming here for over 10 yrs . Never been disappointed. Good old fashioned homemade business with warm staff and owner's. For breakfast with warm coffee to eggs and toast or Sunshine special.. to Lunch with daily homemade soups with Patty melt and for past month been joining them for dinner specials.. Highly recommended

Consistently wonderful food & service. I've had steak and eggs there 35 times in 3 years & NEVER had a bad one! Home fries are better than ANYwhere, bar none. Great breakfasts, great lunches, wonderful Brenda the server. It just can't get better!

Stopped in today for lunch and ended up getting “breakfast”. The cinnamon raisin French toast was very good and the eggs, home fries and bacon were perfectly prepared. The service was great and all of the staff was very friendly, I’d say this is one of the better places for breakfast/lunch in the area, I will definitely be returning.

Forgot how good their food was. Bacon is well done without being like cardboard. Potatoes are just right. Eggs are fresh. But best of all the majority of booths can sest six and are great for two people spreading out the newspaper s. Love love love!!!

Incredibly delicious food every single time and friendly service that's always genuinely helpful. Highly recommend for anyone to try this place and the prices are extremely reasonable for such a great experience all together. Make sure to try them out and expect to be amazed. Rly delicious with a few unique food options that i hadnt had at othr brkfst places/diners, like cuban bread or french toast made with raisin bread..(ive tried both, vry gd!) ...also THEY HAVE/MAKE THE BEST BACON! 8D ...(i almost always order bacon evry time i get breakfast & have bn to many in ct so far, theirs is veeeeerrrrryyy gd) ...also they r rly nice ppl here too, awesome customer service that has always gone above & beyond. Highly recommend.

I went there to eat with my brother, his daughters and my daughter. I got a cheeseburger. Huge patty for the burger. Very delicious. I would definitely eat there again
