Food was so good. The order was quick. People are so nice. Is a cute place. You can eat either in or out

First visit and it was pretty good... food was good and on the table quickly. The place is very clean, i saw one of the waitress was cleaning the menus over and over lol. The people who run the place were awesome. Very kind and nice and fun. And almost forgot they give u big portions, atleast compared to other diners ive been to. Hopefully others will get the same experience i had.

Maria and staff are always super sweet to my 3 year old daughter and I. We love going for breakfast at El Cafesito!

I also go alone atleast once a week and always feel so welcome. 😙

Delicious and not expensive.
The only downside is that the orange juice is not natural but the food makes it up for it.

I had a wonderful breakfast from El Cafesito! I want to thank the owner SO much for offering a Groupon deal too (I bought 2). Times are tough financially for many people. Groupons and other coupons or sales are the only way I can still afford to eat the food offered from ANY restaurant. I ordered an omelet with home fries and it was delicious! The waitress who took my order was very pleasant and patient with me as I tried to make a decision from the menu. I will pass the word on to anyone looking for a great local breakfast place 👍

Absolutely love this place! I came here for the first time a month ago to check it out as I advertise my Declutter By Lani company on their placemats. I can honestly say the owner Maria is a sweetheart, the food is great and the place itself is cozy. I will definitely be back and will be taking advantage of their catering for upcoming parties.

We took our family of six on a Sunday. It was full so they let us sit at the bar until a table was free. They quickly served coffee at the bar and once we sat and ordered our food it came in about 10 min. The waffle and pancakes were so fluffy and delicious. Waitress checked in on us and made sure we had what we needed. Thank you for great food and great service!!!

Absolutely amazing!
I got the Poppas breakfast with a croissant and my boyfriend got the Superman breakfast, both were more food we could finish and so delicious.

Great service , clean, quaint and so friendly, the staff call regulars by their names as they come in, I definitely recommend

What a wonderful job Maria has done here. So happy to see her running the place her way! Food is excellent... large portions. Coffee cups are always full and delicious. So thankful for how well they take care of my grandmother, who is a regular :)

My dad and I have been living in Wolcott for a year. we have driven by here many times. Today my dad and I went for the first time. We got the homemade hash meal. I got the shredded home fries which were full of flavor. My dad got the home fries and he said they were also full of flavor. We were very satisfied with the food and service. We found our new breakfast spot.

Just had a great meal. The chorizo hash special and it was great. The coffee was great and hot the way I like. Most of all the service was excellent. Served with a smile and vary attentive. I go back in a heartbeat.

Consistently good food for breakfast.Best sausage gravy and biscuits in the local area!! The server was very attentive.Would definitely reccomend to family and friends. Support this local business,you'll be glad you did.

Great service and good food. They do breakfast right. Service is quick and friendly. The food is excellent and prices are very good. Love stopping by for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Have sat at the counter to eat an omelet with toast and potatoes. Very happy with everything I've had from El Cafesito.

Very delicious food, like homemade breakfast, so delicious!!! Very good service, Maria keeps a very good eye out for everybody and makes sure everyone has anything they need!!! Would definitely recommend this place!!!

Wow! Can't believe El Cafesito Diner has been open for 2 years and I was literally driving by it every week. Guys do yourselves a favor and stop by for a delicious meal, friendly environment and a fresh cup of Cafesito. The food was Great! Will be going back very soon

El Cafesito Diner is falling into a category of breakfast diners that many haven't been before. They actually make me want to eat out every Sunday instead of enjoying "just add water" Bisquick pancakes. And that's hard to do. The convenience of just adding water is something you can't take for granted. BUT the breakfast at El Cafesito Diner is better than your average pancake or egg or plantain. Yes. You heard it right. Plaintain. It appears since my last adventure to their diner they have revamped the menu and added some latin choices. Like empanadas, Plaintains and I heard them talk of Chimichangas possibly getting added. Mind you this is a breakfast/lunch diner so I don't think I'd be rocking an empanadas myself for breakfast but everyone is different.

I got what I got last time. They have this option called the "Superman". Two LARGE pancakes, eggs (2 or 3), two slices of bread, home fries and sausage. It's pretty much an overstuffing but a SELF inflicted. It was so good. Better than the last time. The staff was nice and talked with my family throughout our visit. They also frequently offer Groupon and we will occasionally use one when we go. Though the staff does struggle sometimes with those but nothing to change your mind about.

I will be back again. Probably sooner than later and they do order pickup too. So that may tempt me even more to avoid eating at home or at my desk for breakfast. I strongly recommend a visit to the small & quaint but personable El Cafesito Diner on the Wolcott/Waterbury Meriden Rd line

Owner and cook are one of a kind. The waitresses are very attentive and friendly. I enjoy the food and the homey environment. Very welcoming.
