I had a great cut from Jackie! She made me feel super at ease with the choice of unfortunately leaving my long time stylist of 8 years! Jackie you can tell, takes pride in her work and loves the curlies! She made my hair look and feel super healthy, along with a great wash and style! She actually took the the time out herself as the owner (which I am still surprisingly shocked) to wash, condition and style herself! I am definitely going back and she is well worth the money! Thank you!!!

I think Jackie is amazing. We live in VT and I was heading to CT for a family function. I was wondering if would could get an appointment. She said yes (I later learned she opened up for me and she was due to be off!). This appointment was for my daughter. She talked to me on the phone, answered questions and put my mind to ease. When we got there she took us early, answered all of my questions and educated us on how to do things correctly. I think sometimes some people are just negative. Did our appointment go longer than I planned...yes. Isn't that a good thing? She did not rush, she did a little extra and my daughter and I left there very happy and better prepared for her to have healthier curls!!!

This salon is amazing. I take my 10 year old here for her curly cuts. Jeidalyn does such a great job with her and explains the steps we need to follow to keep her curls healthy. If you have curly hair this is the salon for you. From the atmosphere to the friendly, experienced staff, you won't be disappointed!!

Amazing curly cut by Crystal! She cut my hair dry, then proceeded to wash and style it. The entire time, she explained to me what she was doing and worked to teach me how to style my hair myself to bring out the curls and waves without using heat tools. Definitely recommend this salon! Went to bring my niece in for a curly wash and style and the entire team was excellent. Jackie is super informative and her assistants went over second day care and well as steps in how to manage her hair !

I received great service! Zujeidy Morales really took her time doing my hair. My confidence literally boosted. Don’t let the people who can’t read the terms and conditions of a simple app discourage you. It’s common sense and some people definitely lack it but overall the scheduling the service was very simple and i love the high quality care I received. Thank you!

I got the pleasure of getting my hair dyed and cut by Trent. He is so talented and educated on curly hair. He makes sure he understands exactly what you want. He taught me so much about my hair and has such a kind and comforting energy.

Back in 2019, I decided to part ways with my old hairdresser and find someone who specializes in curly hair/cuts. A good friend of mine recommended me to Jackie and I have no regrets since! Looking back now, she has taught me so much about hair care. From washing to styling, about products and everything in between, I truly cannot thank Jackie and her team enough for the proper education and training on curly hair! Jackies Beauty Bar is a place for all hair types, especially all curl patterns and textures! I cannot recommend her enough!!

Crystal is literally amazing! I got my curly cut with her and it was probaly my fourth curly cut in general but first time at Jackie's Beauty Bar. I was coming off of years of hard water build up that affected my hair and Crystal literally gave me the best cut ever to help my curls come back to life. I gave her some direction but let her do her thing and it paid off!!! I don't know if I've ever been so happy with a haircut. :)

I am very pleased with my hair appointment with Jackie! Jackie & her staff were very professional & friendly. And the customer service was top notch which I love! I have very tight curls & Jackie knew exactly what products would be good for my hair! The session was so educational as she explained everything she was doing. She also gave me my own mirror so I can watch her and learn new techniques to help with shampooing & conditioning. She cut my hair very well & my curls were super defined! Once I was leaving, she & Genisis gave me tips on night time care & what to do in between visits. I am very pleased & booked my next appointment before I left!

I absolutely loved crystal!! I went there for my daughters curly cut and crystal did great with her! I love how she did so well with my 3 year old. And she explained the whole process to me. I loved my interaction with Jackie, crystal and there was someone else working that was super nice too! I would definitely go to them again! And I highly recommend it to anyone!

After researching salons that promoted "curly hair" stylists, I decided to check this place out! Jackie did an AMAZING job on my daughters "curly cut". She explained in great detail how to manage her curly hair, recommended products suitable for her hair type and made her feel comfortable during the entire process. This appointment took 2 1/2 hours and her rates were appropriate based on the service. Jackie is highly skilled, knowledgeable and professional.

Connecticut curly haired girls are SO lucky to have this amazing salon! Jackie and team are true curl experts. I’ve spent my entire life looking for a stylist who could handle my hair curly (everyone wanted to straighten it). Jackie is the first salon that can make my curly hair look better than I can, and I actually walk out of her salon feeling great! No more hats in the car to cover the mess after a cut. Love love LOVEEEEEEE this salon!! I got the signature curly cut with stylist Crystal. She really took her time and catered to my hair from ALL angles. Every angle you can think of. This beauty bar caters to all hair types. It feels good to be able to trust your stylist with your curls. Thank you ladies!

The staff there are very nice people. The place is clean, and very comfortable. They gave great hair product recommendations. Overall, a very nice place for those struggling to find a curly hair salon.

I had a wonderful experience with Jackie. It was my 3rd Deva cut, but really it was my 1st because Jackie is the real deal. She took the time to show me how I should wash and style my hair. She wrote down the products she used and the order to use them in. My hair looked fabulous leaving the salon and for the next two days, just like she said it would. I highly recommend Jackie’s Beauty Bar.
