The cake was out of this world. At first, they said since my bday is so near Valentine’s Day maybe they won’t be able to make the order. They pulled through and made it so pretty. My fiancé bought an all chocolate cake (melted chocolate and chocolate mousse in the middle) it was the most scrumptious cake I ever eaten in my life. It had so fatty and yummy buttercream and gold lining on the top. The price is up there for a 6” cake but it’s worth it. It’s more abstract than how I want the flowers to be but overall it’s a great cake. I highly recommend this place!!

This place was on my list to check out since moving here. Pastry chef Kim Wood creates masterpieces that has Vietnamese and French influences. The ingredients were fresh, locally sourced, and organic. This was located in what looked like a house converted into a bake shop in a plaza. The place was very cute, had a couple of tables, and even a toy bakery stand for my toddler to play with. Everyone there was so nice and friendly there.

I ordered a bunch of items; snickerdoodle cookie, chocolate croissants, banh truffles, mini chocolate waffle, and a Vietnamese iced coffee (yes, I shared it with my husband haha). The desserts I've tried were not too sweet, which I love, and delicious. The coffee was strong and tasty. The snickerdoodle cookie was lightly crispy outside and moist on the inside. The waffle had a lightly sweet glaze on the outside and chocolate on the inside. The chocolate croissants were flakey and yummy. The show stopper were the banh truffles; it tasted like very moist cake pops inside of a chocolate truffle; it had a golden sparkle to it too. All in all, I'm happy to have checked this place out and glad that it's close to me since I will for sure be frequenting it.

Had the salmon croissant cucumber sandwich, one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in ages. Coffee is from Vietnam and fantastic. Owner (Kim) is great company too!

I stopped by the place today. Had amazing experience. Place looks so beautiful and reminded me of Paris! Very warm atmosphere. I had coffee and a few pieces of pastries, which was very fresh and delicious.I spent some time talking to chef Kim, she was very personable and sweet . Thank you Kim for bringing such a unique place to the area. Can’t wait to come back and bring my friends !

I found le Banh Patisserie on IG. Kim aesthetic was beatiful and simplistic. I reached out for her to design my son birthday cake which turn out absolutely amazing! The best part was it tasted even better. Not sweet at all and the cake was so light and moist. I would absolutely recommend le Banh Ptisserie. Extremely professional, responsive, talented, delivers to your door, and beautiful cakes.

Love this little gem in town. Treats and coffee are delicious. The banh are incredible!! Highly recommend. We’re so lucky to have them in Simsbury.

Deeeeelightful French pastries made with passion and it shows! Flaky croissants, almond darlings with fruit and salted caramel! You need to try this spot.

Kim and her staff are incredible, not to mention how absolutely divine the treats are. I brought an Easter cake to my parent's house for dessert, and everyone fell absolutely in love. The flavor, the texture, the frosting... absolutely perfect. Light, but full of flavor. Of course I am going to get another cake for Christmas dinner! While I initially felt the cake was a bit expensive, after tasting I know it is absolutely worth it. Kim is a premiere baker and artist, and her work is worth every penny! I also tried her cookies and mini banhs—all just wonderful!

Love love love this bakery and cannot say enough good things! I first experienced Kim’s cakes when I was leaving my former company, they threw an amazing goodbye party. I have used Kim personally for my mother’s surprise 60th birthday and again for my sister’s baby shower. I asked Kim if she would do a custom bee themed cake for my sister’s baby shower and it was absolutely stunning!! I also gave her free creative license because I trust her so much and adore her aesthetic. Not only are the cakes beautifully decorated but they taste amazing and are stunning as slices. Please don’t hesitate to work with Kim, she has a life long customer!

If I had to sum up Kim's shop in one word, it would be "WOW!" I don't think I have a developed enough vocabulary to express how impressive this pastry shop is. I don't personally have much of a sweet tooth, but every dessert-type item I have tried here has left me asking "How in the **** do they make this taste so good?!" Add in the savory items they offer and you can't go wrong. On top of the world-class food, the entire staff is incredibly friendly and professional and strives to make your experience with them extraordinary. This review is fairly short only because I am running out of superlatives with which to describe le Banh Patisserie; do yourself a favor and come check this place out!

Pre-ordered their Buche de Noel and it was a show stopper. All of our guests were so impressed. It not only looked amazing, but was also super delicious!

Most amazing pastry I’ve ever tasted!! Chef Kim personally delivered delicious heart shaped desserts to my house for Valentine’s Day. They were even bigger than I imagined they would be and were seriously delicious! The combination of the chocolate and strawberry was so perfect and I loved the crunchy chocolate layer on the bottom. I would highly recommend Le Banh Patisserie and can’t wait to try more of her desserts!

The BEST birthday cake I've ever had! Moist, sweet but not too sweet, I don't like frosting, but this frosting.... licking the plate! Run, don't walk to have anything and everything sold here!

Love this bakery. They make amazing cakes and does vegan cakes for my daughter who has multiple allergies. Kim is super friendly, easy to communicate and very accommodating.

We stopped by on Saturday morning to grab a coffee. When we walked in, we were overwhelmed by the wonderful fresh bakery smell and decided to try a cinnamon roll. It was delicious! The owner was busy making a beautiful cake and offered us a sample of some of the excess cake with a dollop of icing with fresh strawberries and blueberries. It was amazing! We brought home a crème brûlée which we’re having tonight! I can’t wait to have a party and order cake this amazing patisserie!

Chef Kim Wood and her work is incredible! She created edible masterpieces for my wedding as a special request, and it was a highlight for the guests! With a classic look that evokes nature as the overall theme of my wedding, Chef Wood was able to creatively come up with individual desserts that contributed as centerpieces. It was absolutely delicious as well as beautiful. 10/10 will come back for her desserts.

I ordered from La Banh to deliver some cakes for my mom’s birthday while we were quarantined during COVID19. While I didn’t get a chance to taste the cakes myself, my parents gave them rave reviews! The pastries are absolutely adorable, ordering was easy, the delivery was on time and pleasant, and the desserts made my mom’s day! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to taste some of these cakes myself someday :)
