Many broken and neglected stones as well as landscaping neglect in the rear portion where nature is reclaiming the old burying ground. Otherwise there are some old beautiful stones by such carvers as Ebenezer Drake, Joseph Johnson, Gershom Bartlett, Calvin Barber, the unknown early Bat Carver, Daniel Ritter and a beautiful but smashed stone by Thatcher Lathrop
