Casa Mia at the Hawthorne

We attended a youth swim team banquet at the Hawthorne. The room was updated and provided plenty of space for the 100 guests to dine and dance. The buffet was excellent. We especially enjoyed the charcuterie platter and chicken parm. The servers were attentive and very polite. It was an enjoyable afternoon.

I had the privilege of hosting an event by Event From The Heart at Casa Mia at the Hawthorne.

The venue was modern and up to date. They had various rooms that you could choose from depending on the size of your event, I believe.

The staff was professional, excessible, friendly, and courteous. The service was above and beyond expectation, and the food was well presented, tasty and on time.

I would definitely recommend Casa Mia at the Hawthorne for your next event or social gathering.

I have never had a bad meal here! We usually get a 4 course lunch for our social group. You can have as much as you like. They are very good at coming around and replenishing empty dishes. Highly recommend.

We had a blast at Casa Mia on Friday, August 11. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a true gentleman who made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious and served by friendly staff.
The Rahsaan Langley Project kept us on our feet with dance music. I look forward to more nights of entertainment at Casa Mia for the grown and sexy people.

This was the very first time that my wife and I ate at Casa Mia.
When I called to make a reservation, I spoke to Christian who was extremely polite and friendly. He assured me that I would have a great experience. We made the reservation for the New Year's Eve day launch in 2023. When we arrived and entered the restaurant, my wife and I were very impressed. We were both brought to a cozy booth in the corner. By the way, it was table number six. Our server had a fantastic personality. She made several recommendations and she was extremely patient while we made our decision. She was a pleasure to deal with. From our drinks to the appetizer to the main course was exceptional. And I also forgot to mention the fantastic desserts that ended the evening. We will be going back soon and we highly recommend it

Me and my wife went on valentine's night the food was amazing the service was on par considering how packed it was. My wife and I both had steak and lobster with appetizers and dessert. The price was verey reasonable considering the 5 star treatment with the food and service. I definitely recommend Casa Mia at the Hawthorne for date night or all ur wedding party needs.

Easter Sunday 3/31/2024.

Been here many times but today standout the most .Had a reservation for a party of two. Sat pretty quickly. Angela and Janice along with John T were very welcoming , pleasent . Food was amazing . Service was topnotch.. ..

My Father's Funeral was yesterday 3/20/24 and we had his Funeral Reception here with a party of about 100 guests & everything Including the food, service, And the atmosphere was Terrific! Thanks again for making my father's celebration of life a special one.

Celebration of Dominican Mother’s Day at the Hawthorns. The food was delicious and the service incredibly. The price was great for the amount of food that we received. Pay $20 for salsa night and you get salsa clases with a great DJ. The restroom are clean. Big parking lots and ases abilities for wheelchair.

Great time! Food was excellent! Service was a bit slow but in their defense it was Easter and the place was filled to capacity! I definitely recommend!!

Yes I was there for a very sad upsetting and disappointed reason of a young wonderful man taken from us too early, but his heartbroken mother used this spread of food (called the funeral arrangement) to serve loved ones at his repast. I was so impressed with the food arrangement that I complimented her choices which she then told me what it's called; we laughed. I told her that I don't care what they called it but that it had just become my "wedding reception arrangement"! We laughed again hugging. That is what this place did for us: For her in limited time frame an arrangement that would please everyone's diet, fish/chicken/ beef/veggies; and for me a checked box off my wedding list of to-dos! Thank you!!!!!

Tried this place out on a Friday for happy hour & wasn't disappointed.
The food is flavorful, delicious, & plated well (I eat with my eyes too).
I sat at the bar & the customer service was exceptional, attentive & inviting. Paulie, made sure the glasses stayed full & the area was clean. During covid times, it is important to have the security of a sanitized dining experience. Casa Mia definitely has that. The chairs at the bar are spaced apart & the bar is large enough to provide social distancing for the staff. The restrooms are also well kept, with hand sanitizer stations outside the door.
In the evening, a live musician came to entertain with the acoustics. Singing from the 80's - 00 eras. You could tell the seasoned patrons were enjoying themselves from the seated swaying being done in their booths & chairs, in addition to the lip singing.
This lounge is a trifecta & then some. Great food, drinks & music. It's so refreshing to find a true lounge that also makes you feel welcomed.

Lobster sliders:I absolutely love lobster so of course I'd like it to be over flowing with lobster but 2 for $8, I'm happily satisfied. It's pure lobster not a stuffing.

Meatballs : 1 huge, tender & moist meatball, topped w/marinara & ricotta...I'm lactose, but this is still music to my ears.

Osso bocco - ridiculously tender!
We had questions about veal. The bartender was so knowledgeable about how it was cooked & the part of the animal. Might be obvious to some, but for a bartender...show the props!

Exceeded all expectations! I had never been here before and drove by it a bunch so i set a reservation. Front to back i was impressed with everything offered from drinks to apps to entrees. Flavor profiles well developed and extremely tasty. Will def be back and highly recommend!

The eggplant parmesan and french onion soup were exquisite. Service was excellent. Only complaint was that the dining room was a little drafty near the floor. Seems like all the heat was in the upper half of the room. Will definitely be back due to fabulous food and service.

Great live music great atmosphere delicious food. The service could’ve done better. Our waitress didn’t really pay attention to our table at all. It took us about 45 minutes to get drinks but we weren’t in a rush. The entertainment kept us busy. However, we ended up tipping another waitress, who was very attentive to every other table assisting wherever they needed help.

Wednesday night special event dinners are where it's at. $30 unlimited food, beer or wine.

Great food and service. Fantastic selection of steaks. Nice big lounge area too.

I'd like to recognize the server, Neeka, I believe her name is. We have had her wait on us a few times now and each time, she makes the whole experience that much better with her wonderful personality and service. You can tell she genuinely cares about her job and her customers and she just radiates warmth and positive energy and is always on top of absolute everything that's needed or wanted at out table! Hopefully she is recognized and taken care of there bc she is an absolute one of a kind server!

The food and service were excellent in the lounge area. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and I really enjoyed the calamari. Our group of 4 had several drink which were fantastic and then we danced to the live music.
