THE BEST REPAIR SHOP EVER KEVIN WHO IS THE OWNER IS COMPLETELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY HONEST. I'LL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING AS NEEDED. HIS WORK IS FANTASTIC AND VERY REASONABLE. I WON'T BE GOING ANYWHERE ELSE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SOUTH STREET AUTOMOTIVE.

Kevin is a man of honesty and integrity. He has helped me out more than I can tell you and has been very reasonable and really really really really cares about his customers. We have been dealing with a warranty issue for a while and every time I call him he is nothing but courteous and tells me to bring the car in and fixes it without question. I would recommend him to anybody looking for work done on their car.

Been going here for 14 years. Kevin the owner is very professional, and has worked on 3 of my cars over the years. He not only explains if there is a problem with the vehicle but shows you the problem. The prices are very fair and you will be happy with the service.

I had a water pump replaced on my Toyota Avalon in February and wanted to find a good mechanic locally. I found online reviews to be very positive and I decided to give them a try. They confirmed the need to replace the water pump and got it done very quickly and at a good price. I was impressed with Kevin and their customer service. I will continue to use South Street Auto and recommend them to friends.

I brought my car into Kevin 45 min before they closed on a Friday. There was no hesitation in taking my car up on the lift and looking at it and offered for me to bring in my car first thing 8 am Monday morning. He was super friendly, got me in quickly, and fixed the issue. Super thankful for him!

I had a great experience with Kevin and the team at South Street Auto! I called them on a Tuesday, brought my car in Wednesday morning, and had it back by the end of the day on Wednesday with new back brakes, spark plugs, and my engine tuned up.

Have been bringing 2 cars that I’ve had now for the past 2 years to them, Kevin has always treated me with respect and honesty. They gave me fair pricing when I had to have pads/rotors all replaced, gave me advice on what some problems might be going and were transparent about what needed to be fixed right now vs had time before addressing. For context, I moved to CT 2 years ago for work and it’s tough to find trustworthy mechanics right off the bat. You’ll get that here

These guys are experienced, honest, professional and efficient. Kevin and his team explain what they notice and will let you know if you should hold off a bit on a service that’s not yet necessary to save you a few bucks. Sometimes they show you the issue with the car under the lift, so you see for yourself what’s needed. Wide range of services. Great go-to spot.

Out of all the mechanics I've gone to, these guys are the most honest and efficient. Kevin knew what was wrong with the car right away, and told me how much it would be, which was not at all as high as I was expecting. He told me what I could and could not leave undone depending on my budget. In under 40 minutes, my car was fixed at a cheaper price than his estimate! Incredibly nice guys, awesome service. I would recommend South Street to everyone.

We've brought multiple cars here over the past few years. Kevin and his team has performed great work every time. Plus, they finish work on time and I have never felt over charged. I trust them and think you should as well.

They take the time to actually listen to you about your issue and communicate during the process if they need further information. My experience was excellent. I would definitely go back again in the future. They even washed my truck which had bird poop all over it from when it was broken down. Much better experience than any "Stealership" I've dealt with. They kept their word about what they were doing and when the vehicle would be done. This was my first time going to this shop and I'm grateful to have found them. I highly recommend.

Brought my car in for a clogged AC discharge that was causing water to leak on my floors. Not only did they see me late in the day on short notice, he unclogged it in less than 5 minutes and didn't even charge me anything. I will be back. Excellent service, friendly people, and honesty. A good mechanic is hard to find!

In todays current economic climate and that assumption you make when you need the service of a garage, that you are about to be ripped off!! "you need this Sir/Madam", "you need that Sir/Madam" .......WELL!!, This NEVER happened to me when I took my Mazda in to be fixed at South Street. I phoned one day my car was fixed the next day before lunch, part fitted and replaced. The quote was acceptable compared to the "Steal-a-ships" in fact it worked out to be a few dollars less than the quote...AJ was spot on with his customer service skills and knowledge of what they need to look at to see what is wrong with you car. Basically, South Street will not rip you off and the price is acceptable....and I am a happy customer that will return.

I brought my car here just to find out if damage to my front bumper was reparable without replacing the bumper. Kevin, the owner, was extremely friendly & reassuring, and re-attached my bumper perfectly right then and there. Thank you so much Kevin!

Lugnuts nearly all off and tire shaking on 91 North. Im from out of state and after looking over reviews they appear to be exactly what i needed. .actual cost 300 vs quoted 500...quick serviced next day.
