They have a lot of good sales great products and friendly service. I love going to this store seeing the cool merch. Too bad they only go up to size XL. The skateboards are hit or miss sometimes ill find some awesome boards and other times i hate all of them.

I've been watching Braille Skateboarding videos and finally decided to break down and buy my first skateboard! I tried looking up a local skate shop - somewhere where the staff would be a little more knowledgeable and friendly - but Zumiez was the only shop I could find nearby. And I'm happy to report that the staff was extremely friendly and accepting! Just so that makes more sense, I'm trans and just starting my transition and even though they used male pronouns (I was presenting androgynously), I didn't get the feeling like I was being looked down on or hated whatsoever. Not really knowing what to expect in terms of quality, the staff walked me through buying a complete (e.g. - board, trucks, wheels, bearings, and hardware) and was extremely patient when I was picking things out and putting together the "look" of my board withing my budget - about $100. I could've set it up myself and taken everything home, but they offered and I left it to the pros... It was a really awesome experience and I can't wait to start learning!
