I stopped into Cheri’s bakery to order a birthday cake the first day they re-opened on Feb 28. It was spotless, fully stocked, busy and Cheri was so friendly. The cake was delicious, flawless, fresh and everyone at the party raved about it! Best Italian Cream cake! Delicious!

Very fresh donuts and cannolis! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I really missed this place when they closed and was happy they reopened in Branford. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday, and only open until 3 on the other days. Sunday until 1:00. So go early to get your fresh baked goods. Delicious!😋

I missed this bakery the last few years it's always been my go-to for pastry especially St Joseph's day for the Zeppoli!! So glad to see them back !!

I was struggling to find good donuts in CT because I come from the part of Texas where there's a small donut shop on every corner. After trying Cheri's donuts, I will say these are the best donuts I've had in my life. They're large, soft, and have delicious ample frosting.

Wow. Just had the arroz con pernil that they do every Friday and Saturday and Yum. So happy to stumble upon you guys. Delish!!

We love Cheri's my husband loves the miniature pastries I make a trip up there sometimes once a week to grab him some pastries from East Haven!
We also love their cakes we have ordered quite a few for different occasions! The chocolate lemon pie or donuts are the best!! And when in season I buy him strawberry donuts he says fabulous!! We have been to Cheri’s on multiple occasions. Everything we have purchased, we’ve immensely enjoyed. Most recently, we ordered a carrot cake for my father’s birthday and it was delicious! The cake was flavorful, densely packed with carrots, and had a light cream cheese frosting that was not overly sweet. I would recommend Cheri’s for any of your sweet tooth needs or functions!

Great little bakery. I have been in the area for 5 years and just tried Cheri's for the first time. The service was great and the pastries are just like I used to get growing up in the south end of Hartford at Mozzicato's. Italian ice was excellent as well. Must check it out.

I'm not from the area .. I work in town and I foolishly waited last minute to grab a birthday cake for my mother (Sunday before memorial day) . My coworker suggested cheri's I called and asked if they had any cakes .. the lady was super nice and said we have 2 chocolate chocolate and 1 chocolate mouse left !! I was like please put the chocolate mouse aside for me I'm going to come get it !! Let me tell you I do not like cakes at all!!! This was one of the best cakes I've ever had !! I told my boyfriend if we ever get married we are GETTING that cake !! He agreed😊👍thank you so much it was so goood! I also grabbed 2 cannolis for him and he said they were super good!!highly recommend it!I'll be back !

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME ! The Italian pastries were fabulous, cupcakes were delicious and we ordered a birthday cake that topped any cake I have ever had!
I would travel back to Cheri's in a heartbeat and I live in Gales Ferry!

I've lived in Branford for 16 years and I finally went to Cheri's Bakery for the first time today. They have a lovely selection of goodies! - all kinds of pastries, pies, cakes, cookies, donuts and Libby's Italian ices. Their incredible donuts put that chain of donut shops to shame! They serve coffee & beverages too. The shop is very clean & the staff is very friendly. I'm going to make Cheri's a regular stop of mine!

Cake was not only beautiful but delicious. Exactly what I ordered. The women working where pleasant and helpful during pick-up. Highly recommend them for your next cake.

My favorite bakery in New Haven area. Cinnamon cruellers to die for and 5 of my favorite sweet rolls and pastries. Really satisfies any sweet tooth.

Awesome products, all made fresh in house. Pastries, cakes, pies (especially the chocolate lemon!). Run, don't walk, to get your dessert. Skip dinner, it's worth it!

Practically tried one of everything and am thoroughly impressed/ happy. Not too overly sweet and well priced. Bought a handful of items for only $15! Happy :-)

This place has some amazing pastries. We also order birthday cakes from here and they are always delicious.

These donuts are great. Not showy but packed with flavor! Try the salted caramel with cream filling.
