Mitchell's On Main

I was in Cromwell for a week for a work trip and ended up eating breakfast here Tuesday through Friday. The staff was friendly, quality service, outstanding food, and reasonable prices. I look forward to returning here next time I’m in town!

I’ve been going to Mitchell’s On Main in Cromwell for many years now.
It’s an intimate atmosphere because there are so many regulars there you could easily get in a conversation with one of them.

The service is great because they have fast, efficient and friendly servers.

I think the food is always top notch.
I’m always pleased with my meal.

The cooks never seem to get a moments rest, always on the move, making those orders to perfection.

The owner Tom is busy serving meals or helping cook.

And then there’s the dishwasher who makes a rare. appearance when he brings out the clean dishes, cups, and silverware.

Thanks to all of you hard workers.
Each of you is why those regulars are regulars and why a first time customer sometimes becomes a regular.

My friend and I stopped here on 12/16/2021. First-time we ate at this location. Much better. Felt welcomed,home feel vibe, It's smelled homemade with bacon in the air. Cute very inviting. Coffee was good. The food was awesome and perfect to the eyes as it tasted! Saw this place on the Breakfast places on Wfsb Channel 3, as it made us delighted to try. We used to go to the location in Rocky Hill years ago had lot of bad experiences but this was worth the added drive. Will be back .

Great place for breakfast!! Try the cream cheese stuffed French toast with Bananas Foster syrup coating - EXCELLENT!!

This restaurant offers a huge selection of breakfast options and everything is cooked to order. The food was great and the service was good too!

Had a terrific breakfast with my sons just before attending the Travelers Championship. The quality of the food, the timely service, and the hospitality were exceptional... The homemade hash was on point. Already looking forward to making Mitchell's on Main a frequent stop for breakfast and lunch....

Total gem. My mom who lives in CT visits frequently... the breakfast was great and very reasonable in price .

Had an amazing omelet and breakfast potatoes here while in Cromwell for a workshop up the road. I will make a special trip to get back there. Service quick and accurate. All customers grinning ear to ear...that's the way I like it!. Coffee better than Dunkin 100% and costs less.

Very delicious food, been here three days in a row. Wish I had pics of my omelets, very filling.

Place is amazing, very kid friendly and breakfast is fantastic. They have everything from your normal breakfast to exotic twists. Hometown like setting with courteous staff and fast service. We go here every week as a family.

This is a wonderful family based restaurant. Everyone is made to feel at home. Even my first visit I was made to feel both comfortable and welcomed. Word to the wise, this place is packed on the weekends. The food is fantastic! This is my go-to and favorite restaurant in Connecticut.

Best peanut butter/chocolate chip pancakes, hands down. Also, the breakfast quesadilla, add chorizo and pepper jack cheese, so good. It gets busy but the staff is always friendly.

Awesome brunch place! Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. The chorizo Benedict was especially tasty. I will definitely be going back.

Sat outside on Sunday morning. Great and efficient service. We had the daily special of 2 eggs, toast, spuds, and coffee for 5.95. The over easy eggs done to perfection. Tasty spuds. A Belgian waffle was ordered by another in our group as was a breakfast sandwich.. all were enjoyed and the waffle was large enough to take half home.
