My babies love this park! I have been coming to this park for 2 years now and I’ve had the best experience with people and other dogs. They provide picnic tables and benches which makes it comfortable for you to watch your pups play or chat with other puppy parents. There are 2 poop bag stations available one in each entrance with garbage cans to facilitate cleaning after your dog. Thank you so much for providing a safe and comfortable area! We love it 😍

Hands down the best dog park in Connecticut. This park has everything you and your dog need for a great day. There are trails, a very large open field with picnic tables and benches. Best of all is a beautiful clean river with plenty of swimming spots with sandy beach areas along the trails. They also supply poop bags and garbage cans at both entrances to the park. It’s a great place for the pups any time of year.

Our dog loves it Here, so much space for the pup to run around, also the river is very shallow and great for her to cool off.
The first parking area is good to go to the field and if you take the dirt road to the right of the parking area and it will bring you to the river side.
Can't wait to go back.

We've brought all of our dogs here for many years. The dogs run free, splash around in the brook and always seem to have a great time. It's a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There are shaded walking trails and the park is unfenced, so you need to keep a sharp eye on your pet. There is seating and a few tables and several poop bag dispensers. Separate fenced-in area for small dogs. We love the Southbury Dog Park ~ many thanks to O&G Industries for providing this amazing space!

My favorite off leash park for fur babies. It's pretty and serene. The dogs can get right into the river and cool off on a nice hot day! My little fur baby is usually done for the day after a couple of hours at the park.

Absolutely the very best dog park Iv been too. River front with multiple dog beaches / swimming holes. Gated huge open field with very nice benches and picnic tables. Past the field their are a ton of paths and trails to take your pup on. The best part for us was the water access and trails. Their is also a small dog park in the front near the parking. 4 paws up from our two pups.

First time taking my 8 month old Aussie here and he loved it so much! It was very clean and there is so much running space and a river for the dogs to play in! It was also my pups first time playing in water! Over all the best dog park I've been to!

NOT FULLY FENCED IN. Small dog section is fully fenced. Bring your own toys. The huge field connects to 2 trails(un-fenced). It's very easy to lose track of a dog since it's do big. There is a main road very close to the stream(no fence). Super cool place if your dog doesn't run away off leash. The road by the stream is sorta uphill woods. You can see the bridge/road in the back of the pictures. If your dog tends to take off I would avoid this park.

Great space but I'm partial. My father and another Selectman were instrumental in getting the property from O&G. Fenced in little dog area for the pups not wanting to deal with the bigger dogs. Well maintained and lots of room for your doggos to run around

This is the best dog park in the state! My dog loves playing in the water and is a fetchaholic. Here he combines both loves. He also loves the trail walks, as well as free play in the field with new friends. The park is so big that he never has to worry about being overwhelmed by "greeters" at the gate when we enter.

This really is an amazing dog park. The main field would’ve been impressive enough but then they connect to some really cute trails and a river which my dog loved. There’s a bunch of benches and a few picnic tables scattered throughout.

Great dog park. Tons of open space and access to a river for the dogs to swim. Trails to walk around and benches if you'd prefer to sit and enjoy the weather

Well maintained, was very happy to see multiple stations to get doggie bags and garbage cans to put it in, most dogs are off leash. There's a river that flows through the park so if your dog loves water they will love this park!

Great dog park! There is a separate area for smaller dogs, a river to swim in, trails, benches, picnic tables, shaded areas, and even dog bags to pick up after your pup in case you forgot. This park is amazing!
