a wonderful place with delicious pizza and real Guinness beer! we were here on Veterans Day 11/12/23 and accidentally caught the parade and had a delicious meal at the same time. we took Hot Oil pizza - very spicy!

Stinger and hot oil works every time as toppings. Good place to eat out on weekends. Salad pizza is good too!

Multiple options of tasty thin crust pizza. Great service and reasonable prices.

Yum! I started out eating at the original Colony Pizza in Stamford. I've been to the Milford location often. Very very good!! Love this pizza.

Super simple business model- just pizza, no frills.
But this isn’t a business model review, it’s a pizza review and the pizza here is OUTSTANDING.

The crust is thin and therefore not as filling as a standard personal pizza but it was so good I could’ve eaten 2- and next time probably will.

WOW!!! Went for lunch on a Sunday - pretty full house but plenty of seating and beautiful restaurant. A friend recommended the place, as pizza is my favorite food, and it DID NOT disappoint! One of the best, if not THE BEST, that I’ve ever had in the state. One simple menu - pizza - one list of toppings - that’s it. Blew me out of the water! I got pepperoni, mushroom, and hot oil 🔥 !!! Unbelievably crispy, packed with flavor, absolutely amazing. The hot oil is a must!!! Our server Sara was great and very attentive. Highly recommend - the pictures are good but justice must be served in person. Just became a lifelong customer!

As far as the experience at colony Grill, I definitely give this place a five star. They have plenty of staff and you usually don’t have to wait long for a table even though they are quite a busy restaurant. we enjoy the salad pizza, and every other pizza we have tried. That being said, the actual pizza really is just “good”. It’s not gonna be the pizza you rave about for tourists to come and enjoy simply because it’s just perfectly fine. I think you come here for beers, inexpensive, good pizza and to watch the games on TV. The pizza is very thin, and one person can very easily eat one pizza as they are not huge. The salad pizza is unique and very good. I get extra dressing on the side which is a really delicious smooth, balsamic dressing. Plenty of families dining together, as well as couples and singles. It’s a great place for all in a really cute neighborhood.

Always a great pizza, flavor is on point. It’s a good change up from your average ‘New Haven style’ pie! Always friendly at the pick up counter and never have to wait.

As an out of towner we had never heard of the hot oil on pizza until we stumbled on this awesome pizza joint! We ended up loving the hot oil on our pizza and it was a fun environment! If we are ever back on the east coast we will be stopping here for sure!

Simplicity done right. The establishment itself is very clean, well-organized, and aesthetic. The atmosphere is always friendly, and the service is exceptional. The pizza here is thin, crispy, and truly tasty. It's enough to fill you up, but light enough so you don't feel greasy (even with the hot oil, which isn't all that hot). Think of it as "New Haven Apizza Lite".

It would be wonderful if you had a dessert pizza , for example Nutella with sliced strawberries and a sprinkling of powdered sugar and cappuccino! This would make a perfect meal better!!!!

Lunch with my best friend. Sausage and hot oil pizza is delicious. How do they get that crust so nice and paper thin. It’s a different kind of pizza. It’s not a Sally’s, Modern or Pepe’s, but it is very tasty. I’ve had their salad pizza before too that was great. Besides the yummy, the waitress was sweet and attentive. I wish I got her name so I could tell the manager what a great job she did.

Ladies and gentleman, vegan cheese is on the menu now. Finally I can eat a fine pizza. But don’t get excited and go greedy like me. I’ve ordered all the veggie toppings. Choose three please.

I tried the salad pizza a few days ago, well, the crust was delicious, and the salad is salad.

If you are not a vegan, go with the real cheese though.

It’s a “ Different “ pizza can’t compare it to other Pizza’s places it’s in its own league! Taste WAYY Better if you eat there . Very thin so gets cold QUICKLY. If Taking home “ If ordering to take home ,have them cook it half way then finish cooking at home in oven

Best New Haven Pizza and the place lives up to its reputation. Ambience is cool with walls of photos. Seerver is super friendly. Ordered 3 pizzas. Stinger and hot oil, stinger and tomato, cheese and pepperoni. All came on thin crust and perfect cheese melt. Best gulped with cold beer. Also enjoyed old fashioned a d manhattan as a starter cocktail. Perfect autum evening with the crisp air added to a fantastic evening.

Went with my wife, son and daughter in law. The pizzas were spectacular, our server Maggie was on point and the atmosphere was perfect, just don't ask for appetizers or anything from the grille

Ok let me start with - Irish Pizza!!??
They already anticipated this question and put up a sign near the entrance with their origin story which is a pretty cool one.
The place was completely packed on a Monday night, we were given a wait time of 45min on arrival and I'm glad we stayed.
The pizzas were incredible and since they're thin crust you can easily finish one whole za.
My favorite was the salad pizza,we ordered 6 total and 2nd fav would be bacon with hot oil.

The place is affordable and if I come back to Connecticut again I'll make sure to visit here atleast once.
For the first time in my life I finished a whole pizza and a little more all by myself. Although yes the pizza is thin crust so it's easier to eat.

One thing that stood out was the innumerable pictures of veterans. They put up pictures of veterans from all across the country which I thought was really sweet, the waitress even asked me to send them a picture if I knew any US veteran.

Always go here when I'm in the area. Colony has been a long time favorite and they always deliver a great thin crust pizza exactly as ordered. Service is usually pretty solid too amd doesn't often take long for drinks.

Better than average pizza, a drizzle of the hot oil added a different dimension that I really liked! Nice atmosphere and can’t beat the price either. Definitely worth checking out!
